"The surroundings are beautiful, with intricate design evident throughout the resort grounds. Service was attentive, and the rooms, full of Japanese charm, were spotlessly clean and comfortable. From our terrace, we enjoyed stunning views of the garden, mountains, and a flowing stream, providing a wonderfully refreshing escape from the summer heat. The restaurant was clean and offered a diverse range of dishes. However, there were a couple of minor points. We were quite surprised that the hotel room didn't have a TV. While most people have their phones these days, it's still nice to have alternative entertainment options. After a pleasant evening stroll around the grounds, there wasn't much to do in the room besides browsing on our phones. Furthermore, the hot spring (onsen) was rather small, required advance booking, and had time limits, which was a bit different from what we had imagined. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, it was still a good experience, making it a great choice for a short weekend getaway."
