Top 5-Star Hotels in New Taipei City

The location was excellent and plenty of food and malls nearby within walking distance. Hotel looks very new and modern so in this area, the hotel was excellent. However, a few issues cropped up. 1. I had arrival earlier in the morning (7am+) due to an early flight. I am a frequent traveller for the last 20 years and have never encounter a hotel that doesn't allow me to check-in 1st. I can understand I was early and thus would not be able to be given a room card so early. But I was told specifically by the concierge that I cannot go to the front desk and do the check-in procedure 1st. As in the morning, they only allowed for check out procedure. This really blew my mind. Why would a hotel expect everyone to only check in at 2.30pm if it could reduce the check in crowd? I was happy to understand that I could only get my room after 2.30pm. But not allowing me to do check in procedure 1st is just weird. 2. The room given to me was a smaller room than all other rooms on the floor of 19. First room on the right from the lifts. Not like the one I had booked with the pictures. There was no power socket anywhere near the bed. Neither left or right of the bed. First time ever! Charging my phone meant running my own power extension to outside the toilet door. Very unfriendly for business travelers as there was no proper desk with power socket. Power socket was also not universal, so do bring your converters. I come to Taiwan very often but was quite disappointed with the above. Other than the above, my stay was great.

This hotel is undoubtedly a true paradise. From the moment you step into the lobby, you'll be blown away by the beauty and luxury of this place. Every corner exudes the utmost refinement and detail, from the comfortable rooms to the gorgeous restaurants, and every detail is truly impressive. The hotel staff are also very warm and professional, always making you feel the warmth of home. Location is convenient and directly opposite linkou’s train station. Minimal lugging of luggage and mostly flat terrain which is great news for travelers. Price is definitely reasonable considering the size of room and location. Mins walk to one of their outlet malls though I would recommend Gloria outlets instead. Loved their room and the cleanliness of it too. Would suggest and consider them again if I ever stay around taoyuan again. Staff was friendly too and approachable so do ask them for food and places of interest or even to book cabs from their hotels. Breakfast spread was pretty decent too!

Seeing the sunset scenery is so beautiful and satisfying. There are also many parent-child amusement facilities, and they are already decorated for Christmas, great! The pretty lady at the front desk took the initiative to send me a postcard this morning, thank you! The performer in the cafe also nodded to me before leaving, which felt very warm! Breakfast is also very good! Comfortable walking at night! Thank you for hospitality!

The facilities are good. The public soup here is only available for those aged 12 and above. It is the best soup. Family travelers should be careful, but the water quality here is super good.

2017 Dec 17-19. The family with the extended family had our quick getaway to Taipei. The trip consists mostly of zoo visit and tours. We had a glorious time, so we never managed to experience the hotel facilities too much. The proximity of the place to the tourist areas and price were consideration for the booking.

Great experience throughout! It was drizzling when we arrived but the staff still rushed out and helped us with our luggage (really didn’t have to do so) but it shows their commitment to service. They also have a huge comfortable lobby and plenty of notices on shuttle bus timings. One time login wifi was awesome, connection was hassle free and fast. Room was comfortable and spacious. Will recommend to others! Note: Take their shuttle bus to the near MRT station (Nangang), from the hotel it takes about 35min to reach XiMenDing via shuttle+Public Transport (while it’s 25min by car assuming a no-jam scenario)

First time staying in Banqiao area and was wowed by the convenience of the hotel location during my stay. The staff was very observant and helpful in giving me a paper bag ‘coz my hands were full during check-in. Also wanna thank the helpful staff for the support when my sister left her luggage with the taxi even after we had checked out. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The hotel is quite grand. Although it is not a new hotel, it is very well maintained and the hardware facilities are also well maintained. It would be better if the bathroom can be separated from wet and dry, and the TV can also be updated to a smart TV with the times. !

I would say the hotel is not bad. however, it is not really convenient for foreign travellers at the given location which is quite a bit distance from the city. the facilities are quite complete with rooms of improvement. if you are attending an event around the hotel area, go for this hotel.
