Qionghai Hotel

I booked three consecutive nights at Qionghai Hotel in the off-season. The stay was very comfortable and cost-effective. It is also very close to various attractions, and it is convenient to take a taxi if you don't want to walk. It is very big inside, with peacocks and squirrels. The elderly and children are very satisfied with the stay here, and I will stay here again next time.

Driving from Kunming via Xichang, in order to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qionghai, I specially booked a two-day package on Ctrip. The second time I stayed at the Qionghai Hotel, which is known as the garden-style "State Guesthouse". At around 2 pm, I checked into room 1305. During the lunch break, I felt that there was a buzzing sound of electricity or the sound of the circulating exhaust system in the room, which made us two elderly people in our 70s who had poor sleep toss and turn and couldn't rest at all. We happened to meet Jia Jia, a waitress from the housekeeping department, who came to deliver fruits. We reported the situation to her and asked her to go into the room and turn off all the lights and power to listen. Indeed, there was a buzzing sound. She was very polite and courteous to comfort us and immediately contacted the front desk to switch us to Room 1101. After getting the room card, as we are elderly people who are more sensitive to quiet sleep, we listened in the room again with Jia Jia. Although it was a bit quieter than the previous room, we still felt the buzzing sound of the AC current. Without saying a word, she took the initiative to take us to Room 3203 in Xiaofeng Building to let us feel and confirm that the room was very quiet. Then she contacted the front desk again to help us change rooms to Xiaofeng Building, and helped us carry more and heavier luggage twice. She also called a concierge car to take us to Xiaofeng Building. We were very touched and felt that we could not express our gratitude enough after expressing our gratitude again and again. Although the hotel's facilities and equipment may have various faults or problems as they run for a long time, the five-star high-level management, the waiters' thoughtful and enthusiastic service and respect for the needs of the guests can completely move and melt all the problems and flaws. This is the most commendable, touching and praise-worthy stay experience we have had in high-star hotels for many years. We stayed in the VIP Hotel for two days and had a good rest. The hotel environment and the Sky Mirror are also very beautiful. I would like to especially praise Jiajia, and suggest that the VIP Hotel give a reward to Jiajia, the waiter in the housekeeping department. If you don't have a tight budget, just go for it. It's the only choice when you come to Xichang. Some of the rooms and facilities of this old hotel are indeed old, but the environment and location can make up for it. The internet-famous afternoon tea and sunrise viewing at Diaoyutai are all over in a few minutes.

Highly recommended. Right in Qionghai, close to all the coffee shops and restaurants. The front desk lady upgraded the room, which happened to be the iconic building next to Qionghai, the Moon Viewing Building? Haha, I forgot. Anyway, it's a check-in spot. The environment is very comfortable, with green plants, peacocks and squirrels. The entertainment for children can be increased. The shuttle bus is a little slow. The breakfast is average, maybe a four-star hotel. The hygiene is good, the room is not big but very clean, the comb and slippers are of good quality. Fruit was also given. I hope it will get better and better.

The third time staying here, the quality is guaranteed, the facilities, environment, hygiene and service are quite OK. The hotel itself is a garden, which is much better than the scenic spot. You can watch the sunrise, feed the seagulls, drink coffee, taste delicious food and enjoy the sea view. It's beautiful!

Facilities: The room is a bit small, but everything else is good. Environment: Qionghai Lake, downstairs is the beach🏖️Super nice, drag the kids and mother to check their home, it's super nice. Service: The service attitude is good, there is a shuttle bus in the hotel. Welcome fruit was also given. Qionghai is the first choice for visiting Xichang, and it is also close to Lushan Scenic Area. The Lushan Mountain Bus Waiting Point is 100 meters away from the hotel gate.
