The ladies at the inn are very enthusiastic and patient. Their tone of voice and behavior are very heart-warming. The coffee in this inn is also very delicious. Zhongshan Inn is located in Changpingzhen, a Tibetan style village part of Siguniangzhen at about 3200m altitude (good for acclimatization if you want to go further to Danba, Tagong, Kangding). The bus from and to Chengdu Chadianzi station stops in 5min walking distance from the Inn. To Shuangqiao Valley one needs a driver (about 7 km away, 15 min drive). To Changping Valley (6km away, short ride) one has to take the shuttle bus, the bus stop is a 5 min walk away. The trailhead to Haizi Valley is in 5 min walking distance, one can walk over directly. I stayed here in the week before the Spring Festival. The village and the Inn have been extremely quiet, just a few visitors (many stores and Inns were closed due to the holiday). Hiking and trekking opportunities around this place are rich and beautiful, worth a several day visit. The staff of the guesthouse is very, very kind and goes out of the way to help and support. The owner is a young man who can speak and understand English (great for foreigners). Rooms are spacious, warm, and tidy (bathtub, heating blanket, floor heating) at a fair price. For animal lovers: there are a Husky dog and several cats in the house. In the village you can see the integrated life of villagers and their tiny horses (many of them work as pack animals in the valleys), yaks and cows. Expect some travel hassle if you go by bus or car during the winter season with snow and ice on a small curvy street through spectacular mountains. Needs patience, things will take much longer then.

Before the Spring Festival, I had always wanted to come to Siguniang Mountain to stay at their home. I canceled it twice because of things, but I finally got to stay this time! We stayed on the panoramic terrace on the first day and changed to a room with double sides of the snow mountain on the second day. The room was very large and comfortable. It was right at the foot of Siguniang Mountain. I can't say this, the scenery was so beautiful. Watch the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in the morning and evening. When you look up at night, you can see the sky full of stars. It’s really beautiful, but it’s a pity that I can’t take pictures with my mobile phone. It was very pleasant to take a bath in the evening, listen to music, and enjoy the quiet moment. The service of the housekeeper was also very good. She mentioned to contact us before coming to inform us about the traffic conditions. It was very warm as soon as I entered the room, and check-in was smooth. It is highly recommended.

Hygiene: The B&B provides breakfast, and you can also book dinner. It is cost-effective, sufficient, and can accommodate a large table. The room was clean and tidy. Environment: The decoration style has a low-key luxury feel, unassuming and high-quality. For example: the wall is made of real stone, not stone-style wallpaper, and the pillows on the sofa have textures and embroidered surfaces instead of just printed patterns. Service: Every staff member at the B&B has a sense of simplicity, enthusiasm, and purity in their eyes. Suddenly, I realized that the essential difference between a B&B and a hotel is the temperature. A hotel pays for services, while a B&B brings together people from all over the world. The boss also has a photography studio, and the guy who takes the photography is also very cute and an interesting person. The effect of guest photos is also very good, including accommodation, food, and photography. Thank you to the boss and his family for taking care of us and helping us. The room was very nice and very warm with floor heating. The next day we went hiking in Changpinggou. Because the time was relatively long, we couldn’t return to the hotel to check out. After communicating with the owner of the B&B, the owner readily gave us a delayed check-out time, hoping not to affect the owner’s business as much as possible, and with friends. I accelerated my travels and came back to pack my luggage. The boss’s attitude was also very good. Thank you very much. I will go back next time if I have a chance!

First of all the location is perfect next to the river, backing on to a mountain. Secondly the service is top notch. The boss here is super nice and accomodating. Everybody is really friendly, the food is good and there is a nice atmosphere. The room was clean and new with all the stuff you would ever need. I would use this hotel every single time I came back to this place.

We stayed in Yashe or Yanshe. I forgot, hahaha, it was a twin bed. I didn’t take photos of the room because of the high reflectivity. The room has floor heating and the quilt is very warm. It would be better if I changed it to cotton slippers. The inn has an elevator. The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming. Opposite the inn is the Changpinggou Performing Arts Center. You can get there by bus from Chadianzi Bus Terminal. Just talk to the driver. Walk across the road and you can see Dafeng.

There were bugs in the room and they were flying all night. For a B&B in this price range, the toilet is very small, the sink is too small to hold toiletries, and the shower head is broken. When turned on, water sprays everywhere. The springs of the mattress keep making noise when I sleep on it. In addition to the convenient location and breakfast costing 15 yuan per person (local prices are generally expensive), the rest of the experience is average...

We booked this hotel because it is very close to Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area. The room is spacious, the view is wide, the hygiene is relatively clean, and the infrastructure is complete. Since there are fewer tourists in the off-season, breakfast is served on a per-head basis, and the variety is quite rich. It is probably because of the cold weather that most of the dishes are served cold. What I want to complain about the most is the problem that exists in all hotels. The quilt becomes stiff after being starched, and it makes a loud noise when I turn over, which seriously affects the quality of sleep.
