I read a lot of positive reviews about the Somerset Fendong, and this was why I came here, it did not disappoint. The hotel and room facilities are excellent, everything I need for a comfortable work trip and to work from my room. The breakfast buffet has delicious food in Chinese and Western options, and the gym is a really useful addition. However, what has really made the trip exceptional is the staff. They have done everything they can to make my stay comfortable. Athena Wang and the others at reception, the housekeeping and the restaurant staff go out of their way to be friendly and caring, as the best possible hosts, since the afternoon I arrived. This atmosphere makes more of a difference than anything towards having a good trip, and it is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere in the world. I would recommend the Somerset Fendong to anyone, thank you to Athena and all the staff!

Xi'an's attractions are scattered. If you are coming to Xi'an from the North Station or the airport and not staying in the New City, this hotel is a good choice to avoid the crowds during holidays. Besides, it is really new, the room is big enough, the breakfast is not bad, and even the noodle stalls are different every day during our 4-day stay. The front desk and housekeeping staff are also very proactive and responsive. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in China. Finally, it is close to Xianyang, so you can avoid the crowds and go to Qingwei Tower. It is also a leisurely day to stroll along the Wei River. I hope you keep up the good work. It will still be my first choice next time I come to Xi'an.
p.s. Haier washing machines are slightly lower than other Somerset ones.
