Without doubt one of the best resorts in Xiamen. Hotel facilities and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and accessible. The resort feels a world away from the rest Xiamen and great for a staycation. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and regularly went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and needs were catered for. Room was immaculate, well laid out and maintained. Some staff do not speak great English, but they are patient and helpful and there is always someone on hand that speaks fluently. We were unable to travel outside of the province due to Covid, but this resort really gave us the feel of getting away from it. If you want a worry-free staycation that feels away from it all, this is the place. TIPS for travellers: restaurant and buffet is very popular, so make sure you book in advance

Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was nothing short of bliss! Staff were polite and helpful, room was gorgeously luxurious with an unforgettable sea view from the balcony! It is worth mentioning the hot tub with a big window facing the sea, it was my favorite part of the room. It is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Xiamen. The hotel is clean and beautiful! There are two swimming pools - indoor and outdoor, gym, SPA and sauna. The territory of the hotel is pretty big, full of plants and flowers, plus there are many places where guests can have a rest by sitting in one of the gazebos with table and soft chairs. The buffet breakfast was okay, but in other hotels the variety of food was richer. I guess this is the only things I would improve in this hotel. The rest is all perfect!

I have been to Sun Moon Valley before, and I feel that the soup ponds in Shengzhi Township are more private, small and numerous, which is pretty good. I would like to praise their buffet dinner. You can enjoy a discounted price when you check in. Salmon is fine, seafood is fresh, and live shrimp are all available in hot pot. Almost jumped out of the pot, personally, it is not inferior to the buffet of a few star hotels. On the day of check-in, I soaked in the hot spring. The next day, the children played in the children's playground on the second floor of the hotel, and refused to go home. The overall experience is a good itinerary! But Ctrip said there were all kinds of bells and whistles about giving this and that, but when we arrived at the hotel, we discovered that we had booked a suite with breakfast, and other children's programs, such as the gym and swimming pool, were all standard in the hotel. The lobby is very beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable, but the design is not very reasonable. There is an unparalleled sea view outside the window, but most of the view is blocked by the large stone exterior wall and the thick and high-quality door. The children's paradise is not big, but it is enough for preschoolers to play, and the children also have fun in the daily handicraft classes. There are some paid items in the children's park. We took the go-kart family car. We forgot whether it was 78 or 88. It was really fun, but the time was too short and only allowed you three laps. Of course, you can play as many laps as you want if you continue to pay. , so this is a problem with our wallets, not the kart itself. The claw machine is only 3 to 5 yuan a time, the carousel is 10 yuan a time, and there are two small rocking cars outside the door for only 2 yuan a time. It's really a good price. The water play area has been closed since November. There is a small outdoor playground next to it. The maintenance is average. Two swings were broken and no one repaired it. The hotel has two buildings. We stayed in Xihai. The lobby is very tall. The brochure said that the glass roof was hand-made in Italy. The stone for the exterior wall was sourced from the same mine as the Palace of Versailles. It felt a bit strange. Feel. The swimming pool, gym and children's craft room are also in this building. The children's playground is in the Ruihai building, and the lobby is a bit crude. The European-style town next to it also has hotels according to the Internet, but it is too deserted and has nothing, and it is estimated that no one lives there. Next to it is the seaside promenade and beach. It gets a bit sunny during the day, but it is really pleasant to take a walk and enjoy the sea breeze at night.

We love this place, it may look older but overall the breakfast is fantastic and everything you need is there.

Hotel was in a good location and share resources with the Regent beside it. Booked a suite which was very comfortable ans very roomy. Oddly had a toaster fridge and hot plate but only mugs, tspoons and glasses, so although you could prepare a meal, you would need to bring or buy all plates and cooking equipment . We wondered if this had been a leftover from covid where the rooms would have been emptied? Bed was very comfy and the breakfast at the Regent was excellent. staff were friendly and helpful. Would be great to have a restaurant available in the hotel again (appeared to be closed, but then open for a few guests? unclear if room service was available.

I'm very satisfied with the room overall. I didn't take many photos in the room. The advantages of the parent-child room are: one large bed and two bunk beds. The bunk beds are large enough, and there are sliding doors between the rooms, so the privacy is very good. Zhu Wenqiang, VIP Service Director, contacted us in advance and solved any problems in a timely manner. The children also had a lot of fun. Some suggestions: 1. The lighting in the room is too dark, which is a safety hazard; 2. The TV is a bit stretched, and the pixels are not high when watching the Spring Festival Gala; 3. During the Spring Festival, tourists outside Yihai Town are still a little noisy. If you like swimming, it is more convenient to live in Xihai.

The brothers and sisters at the front desk are very enthusiastic in their service. As soon as you enter the door, you can feel the strong smell of a parent-child hotel. They even took the initiative to help bring the luggage to the room. It is not as exaggerated as they said at night, and the phone can be connected at any time. I am very surprised and surprised , Parking is free. It's a pity that the buffet and breakfast look unprofessional, and it doesn't look like a star-rated hotel. Who would have imagined that it was so full, and I went back and circled, either because it was full or there was no other place to eat. The service in the lobby and the hotel rooms are very satisfactory. The only meal is really average and needs to be improved.

The room is very large, with double 1.5-meter beds, which just meets my needs for traveling with my mother and daughter. The elderly can sleep comfortably, and there is no need to worry about the baby falling down. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The beach is right outside the window and the sunrise is beautiful. The little beauty Lili at the front desk is very welcoming. I will choose this place again next time my children come.

The hotel seems old, i.e. not updated for years. I was moved to this hotel after the hotel I originally booked could not receive foreigners. Tegoo is one of those approved to receive foreigners. The rooms need updating and I believe they allow smoking in the room.
