Hotels in Aluohai Plaza/Songyu Ferry, Xiamen

A special thanks to Mulu for their genuine service during my stay. As a loyal InterContinental guest, I truly felt at home here. The service was warm and thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, actively helping me with the car door and luggage. I hope they continue to maintain this excellent standard. The room, as always, was spacious and impressive. Even though the hotel has been operating for several years, the facilities are still well-maintained. The breakfast quality was also consistently good. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Overall, it's great value for money, and I hope they keep up with hardware maintenance and renovation.

A hotel right near Haicang Bay Park subway station, with convenient transportation. Haicang Bay is a great place for photo opportunities, and at certain times of the year, you'll see blue tears. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are bright, with comfortable beds and pillows. Xiaodu can also be used to control the air conditioning and TV with voice commands. The room rate is also very reasonable and a great value.

On the last day, I didn’t know whether it was next door or upstairs, but I spent an hour plugging in the phone charger from midnight, plugging it in and unplugging it, plugging it in and unplugging it, moving stools and cabinets, it was really annoying, and I didn’t fall asleep until after 3 a.m. If it wasn’t the last day, I would have complained! Do you think others are easy to bully when you don’t get angry?

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰

The hotel is quite new. The first two days of staying at the hotel have a mid-priced room with balcony sea view, and the last day, because I had to check out at 5 am, I transferred to a cheaper windowless room. Health is as good. But remember to pull the thick curtains, otherwise there will be light in the room, and you can see everything around the bed and wash basin in the room when you pass the corridor. The hotel is in the Tongyu Wharf Bus Terminal. It is the departure/terminal station of several buses (805,806,842,850,898,M5). However, before 2320, you can take the 842 bus to the Binhai North Road Bus Station and return to Tongyu Wharf before midnight. From the hotel in the morning, you can also take bus 898 to Metro Line 2 and then transfer bus 37 to Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport T3, which takes 1.5 hours. It takes about 0730 to the airport T3 departure. You can have enough time to take the flight 0930 departure. The front desk of the hotel is on the 2nd floor (compared to some mid-to-high-end apartments, the front desk is on the 30-50 floor, which is not convenient for express delivery), which is very convenient for receiving express delivery.

The hotel manager on duty, Ellie, was excellent! She helped us get an upgraded room with a bay view, and the scenery from the room after the sun came up in the morning was absolutely stunning. The hotel's breakfast spread was abundant, and it wasn't too crowded during the Dragon Boat Festival. There's also a lakeside walking path downstairs, which was perfect for a relaxing evening stroll.

Everyone should stay here! My review for this hotel is a resounding 'awesome,' the only minor flaw being its location outside the city center. It's incredibly comfortable and offers great value for money. It feels very safe, with security personnel patrolling. Although it's a bit far out, it's still very convenient; the Haicang district is beautifully developed with lovely scenery, and shared electric scooters are readily available on the map. The hotel's environment and hygiene are super clean, the rooms are spacious and tidy, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The location is excellent for getting around, and the front desk service is warm and attentive. Overall, the check-in experience was exceptionally good, and the value for money is outstanding—highly recommended!

The service process is very smooth, there is no delay in travel, and it is very fast to the airport and train station.

It's so beautiful, the room is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the people are beautiful, mainly the most beautiful mood. Come back next time, I also recommend the majority of friends to live here! Comfortable, clean and tidy rooms, warm butler service, parking in the basement, food downstairs, takeaway can also be delivered to the door, it is really super convenient to live here.

The independent bathroom has a wet and dry separation, and the hot water is ample and stable, making it very comfortable to use. My stay experience was fantastic; I'd love to stay here again next time!
