Hotels in Gaoqi International Airport area, Xiamen

For a business trip to Xiamen, I had an early flight the next day. I found this airport-adjacent hotel on Ctrip, and it also offers shuttle service. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and a taxi ride to the city center takes less than half an hour, provided there's no traffic. It's also not far from a great spot to photograph planes landing. The room was basic but clean and tidy. My overall stay experience was very good. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

We arrived at 2259, the staff Wendy and the chef on duty that night were so nice to whip up a tasty bowl of noodles for us. Hats off to their kindness as it was closing time and they were already packing up to leave. A five star experience except for the constant smoke smell in the air conditioning. Also, the washer and dryers were constantly in use, it was difficult to get a slot to use them. Walking distance from airport, new hotel, clean, modern and comfortable.

The hotel is near the airport, which was convenient for our late-night arrival. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The clean and spacious rooms provided a lovely, welcoming, and restful sleep. Complimentary hot and cool lemon tea is available at the reception round the clock. There's even a free porridge supper (delicious!) every evening! The free shuttle service to the airport leaves every hour (needs booking). To be candid, the best part of our stay was the kind help and assistance from the reception staff, who were very helpful with our suggestions, taxi bookings, etc. A very special and loud shout-out of appreciation to Sunny for making our stay memorable!

I stayed at this hotel in China for a few days and I am very grateful to the staff for their warm care. My visa is overdue and I need to return to my country as soon as possible. I need RMB cash to buy air tickets that day, but my bank card can't be used. Only one credit card can be used normally. Mr. Zhou, the hotel staff, took me to the bank to help me deal with the card problem throughout the process. Although there is a language communication barrier, it was perfectly solved. This is my first time to China, and I feel very good. The Chinese people make me feel very friendly. I like China very much, and also like Yaduo.

My flight landed at 12:30 AM, and the hotel shuttle was already waiting. An extra person ended up joining us for the ride, and when we inquired about an additional charge, they kindly offered it for free. Upon arriving at the hotel, our package only included breakfast for one. We asked to add three more servings, and to our delight, they generously provided three complimentary servings. Very thoughtful of them! Stepping into the room, we were pleasantly surprised. It was very spacious and even came with a refrigerator. This was perfect for our picky eater child, as we could store some of their favorite snacks to prevent morning hunger. I had read some negative reviews about the cleanliness, so I gave it a thorough check myself. While the room did show its age, it was impeccably clean with no damage or wear whatsoever. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. To stay in a five-star hotel like this for less than 400 [currency unit implied] is fantastic value for money. In the mornings, you can enjoy a stroll through the beautiful gardens or take a refreshing swim. Our room wasn't in the main building, so it was a 5-minute walk to the restaurant. However, if you preferred not to walk, you could always call for a golf cart pickup. The hotel had mosquito repellent devices placed everywhere, and surprisingly, there were hardly any mosquitoes. As someone with sensitive skin, I didn't get a single bite or rash during my entire stay. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, proactively assisting with luggage and always serving with a smile. Their service truly exceeded all expectations.

Nice hotel, clean and equip with all necessary amenities. Away from major tourist area, however, close enough to foods and shopping. Must try the seafood restaurant around the corner, fresh and affordable price , no tourist markup. Lol. Will definitely be back again if happened to stay at Xiamen.
