First impression of the room was nice but things turn bad after. Door couldn’t lock at all near 11pm and there wasn’t anyone who can fix it, was told to change room but I’m hesitant as my family members were all sound asleep. Thankfully after 30 mins, the door locked by itself. Multiple baby cockroaches were found, and when I told the receptionist, the reply I get is that they use roach killer. A few of us has bites on our bodies the next morning. The cleanliness is poor. Would not recommend at all.

Good Location, great services, tasty foods in every corner, centralize area & iconic places to go by train /by foot to train station. Will come again to stay this hotel. 👍👍👍

First time to Xiamen and been hooked this hotel for 2 nights. First night with 2 bfast. Upon check in, we asked the counter how to purchase another 2 bfast for tmr. Instead of selling the bfast to us, but they gave us 2 FREE bfast. What’s the excellent service was that 😘😘 thank you so much ☺️ and the room was so big and just nice for 4 of us. It was duplex style. Really awesome. Highly recommended. The price is very reasonable compare to others

The first time i go to xiamen, and decided to book this hotel because of the rating, and turn out it is a good decision! While we have a langguage barrier at other hotel, but here at puyun hotel the staffs are tech savvy (they don't speak english but they also have google translate 😎 and our problems solved quickly). The staffs is also very helpfull as they gave us a free luggage storage for several days because we need to go to gulang yu island. The security man at the front door also very kind with us. Very recommended place to stay for foreign people, especially the location is right at the center of touristy street, at least you need 2 days for exploring this area. It is also close to xiamen wharft, just 750 meter from the hotel or 10 minutes walks.

Very nice room. The room is so comfortable that I don’t feel like going out and wanted to stay in the room for the whole day. The location is very good. So near to the walking street. I will book this hotel again when I come to Xiamen again.

The best thing is for sure the location very central and surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shopping etc.
The room design very nice and modern, it was comfortable but it wasn’t very clean to be honest. Staff speaks zero English but I understand almost all the guest are Chinese so they don’t think they need to invest. Even if no English is spoken, staff is nice and communicates via app - they share their WeChat and communication is easy.
The very disappointing thing was the breakfast. It was advertised as Chinese and Western but it was 100% Chinese only. I read in some review responses they said that dishes change every day therefore on some days there may only be Chinese food. However, it was really beyond that - there is not even coffee or tea for breakfast! Only soy milk. I live in China and I am used to Chinese breakfast but my friend was very disappointed.

The location was very convenient, the rooms are new and clean, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. There are washing machine and dryer available for guests to use.

Excellent hotel location and the room was very big for our two families. A little disappointed that there was no live TV option to watch local news.
The cleaning service was average as the staff did not clean the bed in the upper loft after our first day.

Room was clean and location of the hotel was nearby to the famous walking street you can find anything from souvenirs, food and etc all within walking distance very convenient
