Koala International Youth Hostel and Hotel(Zhongshan Road Walking Street))

You can come to study all kind of bad characteristics of the receptionist. On the 1st day of 8 nights paid before coming here, I have met 2 ladies and 1 man (these 3 do not speak English), bad manner(eye,face)-word-no service mind but a man is not totally these characters. After say bad words, rude manner and then she further is pleasant with her social media. The chinese person in the same room to me confronts these lessons too. The morning after, new roommate (around 35 years old, Chinese language student from Chengdu, "I have visited many hostel, never got this incredible low quality service before") complaints another English speaking reception. Oh, all receptionists of this hostel are the same mindset that the customer is annoying. It's a pity that not parallel to the place. This hostel is in a good location, about 0.5 km to the coast that opposite to Piano island, zhongshan walking street and provide good accomodations. #xiamen

Best place to stay in Xiamen. It’s more hotel than hostel with many rooms. The room have all the basic amenities you name it. Just a minute away from walking street as well from the beach. There is also a coffee shop there. The only downside could be ceiling hight seems a little less.

Nice location, quiet, staff don't really speak English, the cafe/bar attached has a wonderful owner. Her name was Smile, she didn't speak much English but was so friendly and gave us many samples of her homemade plum wine!
