The place was somewhat disappointing compared to the photos we had seen online and xhs, perhaps the online photos were from ages ago when it first launched.
The place isn’t listed on Baidu Maps, making it difficult for Didi drivers and airport taxis to find. We had to call the mingsu to send us a location pin so we could guide the driver ourselves.
The property itself is very old and worn. There was noticeable rust on many of the metal fittings both around the mingsu and inside the room.
There’s no lift to access the upper floors, so we had to haul our 30kg suitcases up the staircases ourselves.
The bathroom and sink areas showed quite a bit of mould and dirty grout.
One side of our balcony 'wall' was actually just a piece of frayed white cloth acting as a makeshift barrier.
Overall, it definitely wasn't worth the price.

Got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony, and the view was fantastic! Could clearly enjoy the ocean with nothing blocking the view. Room was quite clean, not spotless but very comfortable. We were helped with our bags up to the room after upgrading which was helpful. However, our towels, bath mat, and bathrobes were quite old and they all had holes in them. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The room is very comfortable, with one side facing the sea. The decoration is relatively new and the room has a cave-style feel. Although this place is on the mountain, takeaways can be delivered, the security is very good, and the public areas are particularly photogenic!

The service of the ladies at the front desk is very good! They are very nice and kind. The hotel is very beautiful and has a great view of the sea! Next to it is the viewing bridge, where you can see the night view of Xiamen. In front is the beach, and there are many singers at night, which is very atmospheric. The snack street is very close and very convenient.

It takes only two or three minutes to walk to the beach on Huandao Road. Zengcuo'an is next to it. Transportation is very convenient. You can also listen to resident singing at night.
