Not only the best beach hotel in Shenzhen but in the entire Guangdong province.
Private beach: Means no cigarette filters, skewers, and disgusting garbage in the sand like every single sandy beach in China! This is only the beach that can be called privately owned by a hotel in Shenzhen.
Family-friendly facilties: Children's pool, amenities and food. Local restaurants area nearby hotel.
My son loves this place, so do I. I can tell you that you also will do so.

Our stay at InterContinental Xiamen was absolutely perfect. The hotel’s luxurious ambiance, exceptional service, and attention to detail made it a memorable experience—especially since we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. The staff surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, adding a special touch to our celebration.
Our spacious room offered breathtaking views of the city and sea, complemented by plush bedding and elegant decor. Dining was a delight, with delicious food at the breakfast buffet and on-site restaurants.
InterContinental Xiamen exceeded all expectations with its warm hospitality, stunning design, and thoughtful gestures. It’s the ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. We can’t wait to return!

The location is alright, walking distance form shopping mall. You can cycle to beach.
You can use their 'Didi' to travel around, minimally 15mins to the different landmark places/MRT stations too.
However, their 'Didi' map seems to always direct the driver to enter via the back entrance which is in the opposite direction.
Need to direct them to the main entrance.
The room is huge for 3 people.

We had great time in Xiamen. The hotel offers a great range of breakfast choices, staffs are friendly offered great service from Luo and Ding. The vending machine in the lobby has everything in travel size if requires. Location is not ideal for travel purposes but still OK with a short taxi ride.
