GreenTree Eastern Hotel (Xiamen Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street)

This time we booked a "Balcony King Room · 1 room, 3 nights (7.12-7.15), price HKD 1533.34". I heard there was a concert, so the price increased. We were supposed to go a week earlier, but the typhoon affected us, so we delayed our departure by 1 week. [Front Desk Staff:] In terms of courtesy - not bad, but every day after that we told them that the light on the desk could not be turned on, and they said they would find someone to change it tomorrow, but it was not changed until we checked out... We told the front desk because we felt it was a bit dark, and we tested the switch many times, otherwise it would be unnecessary. In this situation... since you don't want to change, why make unnecessary promises! [Room:] Basically, there are slight differences from the photos provided by the hotel, but it is acceptable. When I got the room and entered the room, I saw that there were a lot of food crumbs on the desk chair..., and there were some hair on the floor...! In the end, I cleaned it all and forgot to take pictures! The washbasin is behind the door, the mirror is a bit small, and it is inconvenient to wear contact lenses. The shower room and toilet are clean. The bed is ok, the comfort level is average, the room lighting is not sufficient, it would be better if there is a light on the balcony, after all, the street lights downstairs will be turned off after 10pm, it looks too dark... [Overall:] The location is good, not completely bad! But for us, it is still acceptable, mainly in terms of hygiene, and the promises to guests, which is equivalent to lack of credibility. To be honest, we will not stay again, everyone can decide for themselves, everyone has different levels of acceptance.

I booked a room when I came here for a trip, with a lot of luggage. After checking in, my child had no ID, so I thought I would put the luggage upstairs and then register the child's information. When I put the luggage, they would not let the child go upstairs. The service attitude was extremely tough and bad. I was so angry that I almost had a quarrel. The toiletries were also given to each person by the front desk with a toothbrush when I checked in. There was no comb or toilet paper, only toilet paper. I didn't pay attention when I entered the room, and I found that the sheets were stained with blood and the quilt was dirty when I went to bed. I have never stayed in a hotel with such a bad service attitude. I am very angry and speechless.

Basically satisfied, the location of the hotel is very convenient, close to Zhongshan Road and the subway station. The only downside is the mattress, which is a bit soft, and I woke up with a sore back in the middle of the night.
