Sheraton Xiamen Hotel

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Xiamen Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was warmly welcomed with smiles and helpful service.

Hotel is quite old but generally the room condition is very well-maintained and clean. Staff's attitude is very polite at front desk, room service and cleaning team. The cleaner even gave me a mouse pad when she noticed i didnt have one. Location is awesome, as there is a lot of local foods restaurant and convenient stores within 200M walking reach.

This was my first time staying at a Sheraton property in Xiamen, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. During breakfast, I was asked to leave the dining area because I was wearing the hotel-provided slippers. I was told that these slippers are unsafe and could cause me to fall. If that is the case, I am confused as to why such slippers are provided in the first place—should I fall in the room instead of the common areas? After changing into proper shoes and returning to the restaurant, I noticed several other guests were still wearing the same slippers without issue. If the policy is not applied consistently to all guests, it raises questions about fairness and your adherence to service standards, including your commitment to ISO practices. Additionally, when I visited the swimming pool, your staff insisted that I must purchase a pool cap for RMB 49 in order to swim. If using the pool requires an additional charge, then it is misleading to claim that the swimming pool is a complimentary hotel facility. Overall, I felt very disappointed by the service and approach towards guests. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work to improve the guest experience in the future.

The hotel is well maintained n the staffs very helpful. Location is nice w/ SM mail w/in walking distance. Room is big though the tv is a bit old. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Spacious room, comfy beds, wonderful breakfast spread. It was a lovely stay, highly recommend.

Everything is excellent! from the swift check-ins, and room cleaniness, everything is perfect. the air-con too is good with the hot weather. walkable distance to alot eateries, massage shop, and SM big shopping malls! check-outs are fast too.
