The hotel room setting is excellent. Shower bathing very comfortable, bathing gel, shampoo and conditioner are of good standard. Only the breakfast at the restaurant is far below our expected standard, the first day we entered the restaurant is 10 am, only a few pieces of left over fruit there, fired eggs and omelette are cold and nobody serving. The lady preparing noodle is rude in manner, which gave the feeling I was having breakfast at cell that I watched from movies. Bread choice were lttle, only white bread. After I gave my opinion to the manager, the condition had improved much. Yet I am surprised a five star hotel standard is far beyond my expectation.

A no-frills hotel doesn’t live up to the brand. Not value for money. Room is too old with weird layout making it inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Took a trip to Xiamen for a few days and stayed at Xiamen Westin. This hotel is not the newest hotel in Xiamen but is situated in the middle of Xiamen island, very convenient and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and the rooms are kept clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for reasonable priced and well managed hotel within Xiamen.
