Really great location with great food nearby… room however is not the best.

i have been to xiamen 7th times. this is the first time i stayed in ji hotel, after recommended by my friend in xiamen. shops are easily accessible and convenient within vicinity. wide selection of authentic local food are available for selection. many varieties in fact. hotel staff are friendly and helpful, their services are excellent. i was surprised to stay in this hotel as cleanliness are beyond expected level. ji hotel is definitely my choice for next trip to xiamen.

It’s an excellently located hotel. The design of the room is simple, comfortable and modern. However, a full length mirror is missing which is a major flaw I wish didn’t exist. The room I booked also didn’t have any windows that opened to natural air and ventilation. The window opened to outside the room within the building where artificial light was installed. It was a little strange. All else was great but I did wish that housekeeping would skip past my room when I hung the do-not-disturb sign. They somehow ignored it and decided to enter the room anyway which I was uncomfortable about. Front desk people were nice and polite. Would stay again.

Safe choice to a chain hotel. Location is good with shopping, food and sight-seeing experiences all at ease. Washing machines and dryers are powerful. Sofa requires deep cleaning as there’s odor. Overall, a good and happy stay. Thanks!

Great location everything close by ! Room is very clean and comfortable ! I must say all the stuff are so nice and helpful ! I even booked same hotel brand in Fuzhou .

Location is very good.just few minutes from mrt. Very accessible.cleanliness need to be improve ,the floor alot of dust.

Hotel location is excellent. Near many food places and shops. Hotel itself is just a huge level which looks like a maze. It may be useful to request for rooms nearer to the lift lobby if you do not wish to walk too far or travelling with elderly. There were a few JI hotels around the area and it was really confusing. I first went to the wrong JI hotel and realised a few other travellers experienced the same issue. It will be useful for the different branches to let tourists know how to differentiate the different branches to avoid groups of tourists getting lost with our luggages. Hotel front desk staff was friendly but paper cups could have been made readily available for hot drinks instead of having to request from front desk each time. They could also place more chairs at hotel lobby. 4 chairs can only sit two couples.

Good location if you like to walk about the pedestrian street. There are 2 JI hotels nearby, so need to know the exact location of you hotel. Minimal contact with reception as they are cheerful and appear helpful but not very knowledgeable about Xiamen's places of interest. Room is quiet if only service staff can close service door softly and not let it slam shut. They do it all the time, even in the middle of the night. Housekeeping should train all service staff to close doors softly. These service doors are next to those corner rooms, which commands a higher price as they are slightly bigger and quieter.

Perfect location. Near metro and attractions with many places for foods. However, hotel staffs can be nicer and more professional.

Location was the reason that I booked this hotel. But the staff are a bit unapproachable, when they are busy they just disregard you. I also felt they were not interest to make any recommendation to tourists. But the room itself was comfortable and most importantly clean. We did not opt for breakfast but there are lots of food around the area. I think the service could be improved, when they realise we are tourist from other country, the attitude was a bit different. Maybe they only wanted to speak chinese, but i can also speak chinese, just not that good. It felt like we were inconveniencing them.

Everything is good and convenient. The staff is very helpful.

There’s several branches of this Ji Hotel, this one in particular is at Level 4 of a building. The entrance might be easy to miss but overall, amazing location, right at the heart of Zhongshan Pedestrian Walking Street.
