Echeng Hotel is near to many attractions eg. Ba Shi, Zhong Shan Park and the Zhongshan pedestrian street. There are many eateries near it too. We find our stay in the hotel comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel staff were helpful. It has very good room rates for such a central location.

External looks dated but internal ok. However lobby has a strong stench, bathroom as well but mild still bearable think sewage system old. Otherwise room spacious and clean. Aircon heater does not work need to install standalone heater if need only found out on second day after feedback to front desk. Perhaps locals are familiar with this but not foreign visitors.

Clean and well equip. Best of all the laundry facility. Three sets of industrial washing machines and clothes dryers. Free of change for guests. Famous ZhongShan walking street just across the property. Plenty of local eateries. Metro passes alongside the hotel. Front desk reception staff are friendly and helpful. "LaPiXiaoXin" theme Cafe.

Heater wasnt working in room so we had to sleep freezing in room. And i didnt like the cigarrete smell in room.

Clean and nice hotel, no unnecessary amenities although I understand there is free laundry which is a nice touch. Great location, much better to stay just a bit away from ZS Road.
