The front desk is helpful and friendly. The front desk is located at the old house, but the hotel room is located in a different building, which takes about 2 minutes to get to.

Excellent location with outstanding service from the staff.

Convenient location to main shopping areas and food. The hotel staff is generous and flexible (gave us a carton of water and allowed us to check out late). He even booked DiDi cabs for us on his account and let us reimburse him upon our return. Very helpful. The only downside is, the location is off the main street and can be hard to locate. The taxi will have to drop you off on roadside and you’ll have to bring your luggage in theu narrow streets to get to the place. No lifts either

The hotel lobby has a very rustic and nice deco. It was a little noisy over a weekend as there was a wedding on the same level. Location was great, near zhongshan pedestrian road and eighth market.

Very interesting building, combination of an old villa for reception, tea and nice courtyards, with more recent but charming Minguo-like style building. Great original decoration in public areas. Very authentic. Tatami room was comfortable and clean. Neighborhood is central. Nice staff. Recommended !

Great hotel and perfect base to explore the Siming district in Xiamen! Unfortunately our trip coincided with a typhoon, but the hotel staff were very helpful and looked after us throughout.

Fantastic experience in a traditional Chinese house. Despite the old context, the room has all the comfort and a private bathroom. The reception is simple but helpful and friendly.

Lovely place with very beautiful courtyard and tea rooms. The bedroom is simple. It's right in the center and still quite for sleeping. Highly recommend it!!

Six friends stayed in three diff rooms. All were unique and interesting as this was an ancient villa. We learned about the history and enjoyed tea. Very nice place and good location.
