We had a wonderful time in this hotel, we booked a room with sea view and it was stunning. I came here to celebrate my birthday and the staff has sent a beautiful cake to my room on that day. The sea and the beach are very nice and just 50 meters from the hotel. They also have swimming pools that are great both for adults and children, at the weekend there was music played by a DJ near the pool. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Xiamen.

Second stay at the lovely Xiamen Marriott. Even though the weather wasn't perfect it was still an absolutely stunning and wonderful stay, feel so relaxed and happy. The staff are so helpful, both the front desk and at the restaurant, they really do go out of their way.(Special thanks to Joyce, Yumy, and Polly). We love the facilities, there's a sauna and steam room, indoor pool, and we went bowling! We enjoyed the buffet dinner and the breakfast was okay.

The hotel itself and also the location is really amazing. Very good service and everyone is willing to help.
I would wish, that the staff could speak a bit more English. Sometimes it was somehow difficult to communicate.

Honest review: felt a Racist personal, I arrived for checking first and suddenly a foreign American blue eyes got and all the personal attend him, so if are not foreign or white take in consideration you are not the priority here, the refrigerator in the room was broken and had nothing inside so no cold drinks in summer time :) had to make a line for breakfast and wait at least 10 min for only Chinese food in an international place. 1400rmb wasted

Overall we had a nice stay. While there were a few issues that arose during our trip we were able to sort them out with the help of the staff. Booking the private villa with a private pool is a must do if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation!
