Overall, I don’t recommend this place. It’s completely different from the pictures. The receptionist asked for an extra 40 yuan for a room with AC. We knew that every room was supposed to have AC, but he claimed the room we booked didn’t have it and even pretended it was broken. We were too tired to argue and didn’t want to ruin our mood, so we paid. He also offered an airport drop-off, which we later found out was already included in the service. I suspect the 40 yuan was actually for the drop-off. As for the room itself, it was okay, the bed was extremely firm, and the AC worked fine. However, it wasn’t the most peaceful stay, as people were screaming in the alleyway during the night.

I think the hotel is good for the price. We had a pleasant stay and can't complain. Will book it again for a night.

The room wasn’t really clean as there was garbage from the previous guest in a drawer. The toilet’s smell was a bit overbearing, and the person receiving new guest was not exactly welcoming.

Hotel don’t look like in photos. Conditioner not working

I purposely booked this hotel for an overnight stay in Xiamen for my next flight the following morning, thinking that airport pickup and drop off are available. But when I arrived in Xiamen, the hotel said that I did not qualify for such service because of the kind of room I had booked. They should have stated this clearly from the outset, and not expect the traveler to read the "fine print" in their policies. At least, state clearly "airport services only for this so-and-so rooms booked." With a location very close to Terminal 3 of Xiamen Airport, this hotel could have been a very warm and welcoming place for travelers, like the other airport hotels I had stayed in. They could have offered the airport service as their top service, since there is actually nothing in the hotel itself that can attract guests—the hotel is hidden in a back alley, which even the locals in the area are not aware of, the rooms look old and neglected, the towels in the bathroom are crumpled, and even the glasses are full of water, as if others had used them before. One time is enough, so the next time I come to Xiamen, I'll be sure to look for a better place.
