Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival.
The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

Lovely place, cosy interior and very close to Labrang Monastery, 5 mins walk but still a quiet corner. Cafes and restaurants easily accessible.

This was the second time we stayed in this lovely hotel. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. The family room was perfect for us. Also the food in the restaurant is good. Location obviously is perfect, right next to Labrang monastery.

It's a very Tibetan-style hotel. The ******* lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. The staff helped us take our luggage to the third floor where we live (there is no elevator. The hotel is in a good location and is very close to Lapuleng Temple. It's only a few minutes' walk away.
