My trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today. Location and Natural Beauty The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip. Service is in the Details What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of "hotel service." Summary This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

This is the most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in on Gannan's Xiaohuan. The bedding was so comfortable, and I slept so well, which is so important for a long drive through the plateau! Also, the hotel's location in Xiahe is very convenient, and the service is very attentive. They contacted me in advance and recommended meals, and the people were all very nice. The second floor is the guest room, and ours was incredibly large (we arrived late and forgot to take a picture 😂). The view from the breakfast area was also amazing; I didn't want to leave at all. The first floor boasts exquisite ******* handicrafts, and we wandered around until noon. I'd love to stay two more days...

The room was great. The owner took us to Amuquhu Temple that morning, a 5-minute drive from the temple. The rest of the staff was very nice and attentive. There's a textile workshop downstairs, where we even bought a shawl. The owner has spent many years abroad and speaks better English than Chinese. See the pictures for yourself!

The hotel exceeded expectations. It can be seen that the owner is running the business with great care. Whether it is linens or furnishings, they all reflect the customer-centric approach. Listening to the breeze outside the window caressing the leaves, I have the urge to stop and stay for a few more days. Recommended!

The environment is very good, the room is large, the log design, the public lounge area is very good, suitable for casual chatting and gathering. The owner is very enthusiastic and has a good attitude.
