Nirvana resorts location is so stunning, set in the beautiful grasslands and surrounded by mountains, it was truly stunning. The tent was huge and bed comfy - some things are basic such as toilet and shower offsite but you know this going in. It was great to meet and talk to Wandhikhar, and all his staff who were lovely and helpful.

I went to Gannan for a self-driving trip with my friends and blindly selected a B&B. I was unexpectedly satisfied. We arrived in Gannan at around 9pm that night and the boss was still waiting for us. The room was very clean and came with a variety of nuts. I especially liked it. There are large windows in the room, and you can see the mountains not far away when you open the curtains. Since there were only four of us staying, the B&B was booked directly for us that night, which was very cool. The B&B is decorated in a ******* style, which is very unique. The owner sleeps in the lobby at night and is on duty for us. He is always available when needed, which makes us feel safe. By the way, the boss is a very handsome guy, very down to earth...

Pande Hotel is not far from Labrang Temple and opposite the ******* style decoration. We like it very much. Parking is available at the door. The owner and his family are very enthusiastic. The ******* brother helped us carry our luggage and told us about the attractions around Xiahe County. The hotel has complete facilities, is clean and sanitary, and is in a good location. This ******* hotel has a good reputation in the local area. There is a restaurant and a travel photography shop on the first floor. It is opposite Labrang, close to the mountains and along the river, with convenient transportation and quiet in the bustling city. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, and quite distinctive. The service is warm, attentive and timely. The room is clean and sanitary, and you can see the mountain view. If I come again next time, I will definitely choose this place again.

A Tibetan-style hotel, only about 500 meters away from Labrang Monastery, it feels a bit petty bourgeois. The environment in the room and restaurant is very clean! The landlady also upgraded us to a business standard room for free. Reviews said that the curry rice and milk tea in the Nepali-style restaurant on the first floor are delicious, if we arrive at 8pm. Unexpectedly, there were still many people in the restaurant and no seats available. By 9pm we finally had Nepalese curry rice and milk tea. The two of us still couldn't finish a pot of milk tea. After the boss heated it up, he let us take it to the room to drink. The boss's service was so heartwarming. By the way, when we arrived, the boss helped us deliver our big suitcases directly to the room. I particularly like their style and atmosphere.

I really liked my stay here! The location is very convenient with it being close to some very good restaurants but not right next to the monastery to make it very expensive. It is the perfect distance from everything. The rooms had all the essentials and the guest house itself was very cozy and comfortable to relax in. The owner was absolutely amazing and extremely caring! He really made me feel welcome and spoke good English. Be aware that the warm water is reliant on a natural heating system so the warm water may have run out at the end of the day. But other than that, I would really recommend going to this guest house!

It was very convenient as it had good access to Labrang Temple and there were restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was relatively clean, but the toilet and bathroom had a strong sewer smell, which was a minus point. The room interior seemed a little older than the photos posted by the hotel. There is a one-way road in front of the hotel towards Labrang Temple, so be careful as it is surprisingly difficult to catch a taxi. Please use this as reference.
