Hotels in Zhonggulou Square, Xi＇an

First and foremost , I was impressed by the hotel strategic location. I was immensely impressed by Mr Doug at the front office. Although he spoke little English, he was extremely helpful and assisted me to setup the payment system using WeChat . Mr Doug went beyond the call of duty to further assist me booked several transportation services. I would give him Five Stars and recommend ibis styles Xi’an based on his performance. Located inside the city gate near the clock tower and the subway station. Wifi is provided, but there is some obstruction on certain apps and webs. Room size is ok for me, self service free laundry and heater is located in the 2nd floor. Breakfast is served at floor 1 and there is a refillable water also. Free fruits and welcome drink which is send by the robot.

Location is very good.. all staff very friendly.. the king size bed can fit 3 people very large.. have free laundry service.. there are many shops next to the hotel (but closed after 11pm i think coz everytime i back to hotel at 12am the street is dark)..

Located in front of Bell Tower. Upgrade to this room for this view for the second night but toilet still clogged like the other room we used to stay. Maybe this hotel is too old. 10 RMB trip discount voucher cannot be use for airport transfer. Hotel staff said check with airport bus operator that is located beside hotel but both companies are not related. Apart from that, heater was warm to withstand the snowy night. Hotel staff are more friendly to foreigners than local probably is their culture. We are foreigners from English speaking nation anyway.

I have had a great time staying here to discover Xian. 6 day trip and the hostel was great. Be sure to take the stairs since the elevator is very slow. The hostel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and intact. The toilet is amazing given the Chinese toilet standard. The location is super convenient to reach food/metro/attractions! It will be hard not to fall in love with this view every-time you walk out of the hostel.

The very best experience from our long trip (18 days) across China. The facilities are very cosy and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. The English speaking level is very high. Andy Song was really helpful for all kinds of requests. The breakfast is great. The place is quiet which is rare in such a big city. Amazing place, strongly recommended. Sofitel in Renmin Square will be our next destination in Xi’an.

My experience at Mercure Xi'an Downtown was a great one. The front desk staff were professional and easy to deal with. Special mention to Ding Long, He Xin Yu and Jia Qian. They arranged an airport transfer for me, helped me with my laundry when I was in a hurry and advised me regarding the different places of interest to visit. The location was near the metro, Bell Tower and food options. Keep up the good work team!

Our stay at this hostel in Xian was truly delightful! The location within the old city walls, close to the west gate, was perfect for exploring the historical charm of Xian. We were surrounded by an array of amazing restaurants and charming cafes, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful, and it was a relief to find that some of them spoke English, which made communication easier for us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This trip to Xian was the first time my parents and I visited the city, and thanks to the warm hospitality and convenience of this hostel, we had an unforgettable time. We are already looking forward to returning and creating more beautiful memories in Xian. Great central location near both underground stations and Muslim quarter. The room is big and comfortable and they clean it every day. The breakfast was ok, maybe not the best for western guys like us but still good and plenty! The staff is great and very helpful. Recommended if you are planning to stay in Xi'An for few days!

We had a perfect stay at Campanile. Everything was excellent, very high standards of cleanliness and service. The shower's glass doors were always immaculate. Cleaning was done every day. Good products ñ, soft towels and linen. The hotel has a self laundry service which worked perfectly and left our clothes very nice. The breakfast was good but I would recommend adding more fresh fruits.
