Building 3, Xi'an Renmin Dasha

Zhonggulou Square
Although we had originally booked at the Xi’an Renmin Dasha, Building 3 - the front desk kindly upgraded us to the Grand Mercure Renmin Square (Building 2). We were happy with our rooms and the facilities the hotel provided. My children were especially pleased that they could use the nearby Sofitel swimming pool. The breakfast staff in the restaurant were particularly polite and attentive, and we enjoyed the coffee, croissants, baguette, fruit, yoghurt and omelettes on offer. The restaurant had a good selection of continental and Chinese breakfast fare, plus British-style bacon and eggs! All the Accor hotels around Renmin Square are very centrally located and situated in beautiful historic buildings. It was easy to access the Xi’an Metro and travel around the city.

Zhonggulou Square
The hotel definitely has a 1950s luxury vibe, it's a part of a large Renmin Square hotel complex that share some facilities (notably a great swimming pool in the next building). The location is great, walking distance to the city centre and like 7 min from metro. The hotel made a mistake in my booking and upgraded me to a suite as a result (which was nice but that room was not ready so I had to wait). The suite was nice, with a comfortable bed and pretty much twice everything I needed. Also two wifis - only the Renmin one worked, the hotel one recommended by reception did not work at all. The room had like 20 switches next to the bed, I picked the 'Night' one - bad surprise, it also switches off the bedside socket so I woke up to a discharged phone.

Lijaicun Saige Computer Mall
Line 4 Lijiacun Station exit is a walk forward, not very convenient. The service is very polite and welcoming. The buffet on the first floor of the breakfast is delicious, there are many types, as well as butter tea and Tibetan sweet tea, water basin lamb, meat sandwich, sour noodle soup, and specialties. We ordered four to six people in the restaurant on the second floor for dinner, only half of them were eaten, and the amount was very good and the taste was very good. The family parent-child room has a separate small bed for children, cute dolls, small tents, bathtubs and disposable bathtub covers, wash basins are also two, there are small stools and toilet seats for children to go to the toilet, very intimate. The big bed room is a two-meter bed, no problem for a family of three.

Zhonggulou Square
The very best experience from our long trip (18 days) across China. The facilities are very cosy and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. The English speaking level is very high. Andy Song was really helpful for all kinds of requests. The breakfast is great. The place is quiet which is rare in such a big city. Amazing place, strongly recommended. Sofitel in Renmin Square will be our next destination in Xi’an.

Xi'an Railway Station Area
Awesome. We arrived early after a long train ride and the hotel administration allowed us to quickly use a room that was available to get showered and cleaned up. After our bags were delivered to our room as we started to explore the city. Such immense joy in finding wonderful service. The city of Xian was wonderful. From the Muslim bazaar to the pagodas to the towers to the terracotta warriors. We only stayed two full days, but wish we had another to explore Daming Palace and more of the food at the Muslim bazaar.

South Area
The environment is good, one kilometer away from the subway station, slightly far away, and next to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The room was very hot. . . The service was very good. It was a bit cold on the way from the swimming pool to the locker room. The breakfast was rich. It is recommended to stay.
