Hotels near Shuyuan Gate Culture Street in Xi＇an

The hotel is relatively new. Advertised name ”A-Tour” and actual hotel name is different, so hard to find on local DiDi app, or iphone map, but we worked it out eventually. Breakfast is half western with basic choices, coffee machine is a challenge and never not hot enough. Breakfast on the outside deck overlooking the wall was quite relaxing. Lots of shops around close, including Dairy Queen and several coffee shops just out the front, KFC, Pizza, Macca's and numerous good local restaurants within very a short walk. Rooms are big enough, comfortable and clean, the bed is soft, a big bonus to find in China in the budget range hotels. My opinion, it's a good choice as it's easy on the budget.

The room was big and clean. There’re many convenient stores and lots of restaurants nearby. Metro is about 10 minutes away (from the elevator hall). Can walk to the bell tower to enjoy the view of the city. Easy to check in via WeChat. I thought it might be difficult to find the room at first but the owner gave me some pictures that show the way clearly. However, they only provided 1 small toilet tissue roll for our 4 nights stayed. the WiFi was very poor.

The hotel as a whole is very worthy of praise. The whole experience can be said to be very thoughtful. As soon as you enter the door, someone will help you open the door and unpack your luggage, and immediately provide hot water. The room was arranged in advance after check-in, and I quickly went into the room to rest. The room was very comfortable, clean and smelled great when we entered it. I have to say that I really think this experience is the best among so many cities. Another comment that I must write down is the lady in the restaurant, she is so heartwarming. Although it is a buffet. The cutlery was delivered to me before I even reached for it. The food was very delicious😋 and there were many choices. The eldest sister also patiently introduced their features to me, which I really thought was very good. I also gave a souvenir after leaving the store. It's great, the experience is great, and the facilities and equipment are complete. There is a gym and laundry room, and the parking lot is very convenient. Main level laundry room for quick drying. I really like the smell of this laundry detergent that lasts a long time. I will really choose this hotel next time. Located inside the city gate near the clock tower and the subway station. Wifi is provided, but there is some obstruction on certain apps and webs. Room size is ok for me, self service free laundry and heater is located in the 2nd floor. Breakfast is served at floor 1 and there is a refillable water also. Free fruits and welcome drink which is send by the robot.

The location is very good. There is Xiangzi Temple in front of the door. It is also very close to the city wall and Yongning Gate. The room design is very user-friendly and easy to use. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the service is warm. I will stay here again next time.

I love this hotel! It was extremely luxurious for the price. Decor was modern luxury in style. Comparable and even better designed than some 5 star hotels. Service was excellent without being overly intrusive. The staff were very attentive and anticipated our needs. They also gifted us a souvenir at check out. We were very impressed throughout our stay. The room itself was very well maintained. Equipment felt new and they used smart technology for the lights and curtains. The rooms were very sound proof, I could not hear my neighbour at all throughout the 3-night stay. The bed was super comfortable, they even gave us different pillows - a soft one and a firmer one each to ensure we have the best sleep. The toiletries were also of good quality which is important to me. Most hotel toiletries leave my hair and skin very dry. The toilet itself also included a magnified face mirror which can light up which I used daily for make-up. There are free drinks (tea, milk, etc) available at the lobby. Breakfast itself was an extensive spread including local food such as mini roujiamo. The selection changes everyday. Staff were again very accommodating and even provided table service for some guests struggling with young children. Location itself is fantastic, very near the main attractions - bell tower, ancient city wall and Muslim quarter which are all walkable or a short and cheap cab ride away. The hotel is along a quiet street of an extremely vibrant area. I am actually writing this on the free shuttle bus to the airport - yes such fantastic service even at the end of my stay. Please let them know early so they can arrange this service for you. Many props to the team and management. My only comment is that the wifi connection was not strong so I mainly relied on my limited data. It may just be my room which was on the 10th floor in the corner.

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩

I have had a great time staying here to discover Xian. 6 day trip and the hostel was great. Be sure to take the stairs since the elevator is very slow. The hostel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and intact. The toilet is amazing given the Chinese toilet standard. The location is super convenient to reach food/metro/attractions! It will be hard not to fall in love with this view every-time you walk out of the hostel.

Receptionists are really helpful and they are all speaking English. They suggest and introduce all Xi’an attractions to us during our checkin. Hotel is located at the South gate of city walls and the metro station is directly in front of the hotel. The room’s view is just perfect and you can enjoy the night view of the Xi’an city wall. The hotel and furnitures are a bit old but in general its okay and cleaning was nice. The only problem is there is no socket in the bathroom to use hair dryer, there was something look like a socket but the hair dryer didn’t run normally when we tried to use. We used the hair dryer next to bed, it is not a critical problem.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the Bell Tower and the city wall within walking distance! The staff's service attitude was very good, check-in was fast, and I was assigned a quieter room according to my request! The room is also very neat and clean, and the heating temperature is just right and very comfortable!
