Let’s talk about the conditions of the hotel: the room is large, all facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable and clean, and the bathtub is my favorite style I have ever used. I compared the characteristics, prices, services, etc. of the three room types at the front desk. The lady at the front desk, Lena, answered the questions very carefully and gently. I placed three orders and exchanged them. But the young lady was not anxious at all, and I was embarrassed. Later, we extended our stay for two days and changed to a cheaper superior double room. The lady took into consideration that we like to live in a higher room, so she didn't change the room and even gave us breakfast. Thank you very much. It snowed in Xi'an the next day. It looked so beautiful from the top down. This trip was even more perfect because of Delta.

The sensor light in the bathroom couldn't be turned off. I called the guest room aunt at 1 a.m. and spent a long time studying it before I figured out how to close the bathroom door. When I woke up in the morning, the smart toilet on the first floor leaked and my trousers were wet... There is a tea set in the room. Where is the tea? Is this tea set also a decoration? Maybe you matched it and I didn’t find it, but I’ve already called the service number n times after checking in for one night, and I’m too embarrassed to ask again. For such a good hotel, I really recommend that you learn from the high-end resort hotels in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. What is fine management and fine service? Tens of millions of dollars in decoration are not saved, a few yuan of tea and small soft drinks are not given up, and the service staff is almost useless. The mood and expression were stiff. Unlike other hotels I stayed in, I felt very polite and warm when greeting each other. (When I entered the store, the people who greeted me at the door were super enthusiastic, but they were not the ones who greeted me. Hahaha, it’s really nice. Embarrassing, it should be the leaders of the hotel or the catering side who greet the important VIPs), so it’s not that I won’t, I just don’t want to... Even after checking out, she kept my luggage until I came back after sightseeing in the city. On these two days I received the owner's heartfelt hospitality. Staying here was a great experience. The first room we had had mold in the bathroom and near the sleeping area, it smelled really bad. Thankfully, when we asked the staff to resolve this issue, they kindly provided us with a new room. The new one was a lot better, no smell and clean, no complaints at all. The decoration is nice and its close from a subway station (10 minutes) and from the city walls. Overall, we would not book it again because of the our initial experience but the staff did a great job and were very kind. There are also some washing machines at your disposal, a great point for us !

The hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I have had a great time staying here to discover Xian. 6 day trip and the hostel was great. Be sure to take the stairs since the elevator is very slow. The hostel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and intact. The toilet is amazing given the Chinese toilet standard. The location is super convenient to reach food/metro/attractions! It will be hard not to fall in love with this view every-time you walk out of the hostel.

My experience at Mercure Xi'an Downtown was a great one. The front desk staff were professional and easy to deal with. Special mention to Ding Long, He Xin Yu and Jia Qian. They arranged an airport transfer for me, helped me with my laundry when I was in a hurry and advised me regarding the different places of interest to visit. The location was near the metro, Bell Tower and food options. Keep up the good work team!
