Hotels Near Vanguard (Xi'an Taihua Road Shop) in Xi'an

First of all, the location is less than one kilometer away from the subway station. It can be reached in ten minutes, and then near the Daming Palace. The location is relatively good. Then say the environment, if the environment is good at first glance, but there are several fatal shortcomings, the first toilet on the top of what seems to be tape? I don't know much either. I didn't dare to touch it, so I just set the toilet seat. I contacted the front desk and said that I could help me see it, but I didn't do it if I felt troublesome. This is okay, but the night before I left, I was looking at my mobile phone in bed. A bug that was about the same size as my headset was. It should be a bed bug lying next to me. I don’t know where it came from. It scared me. Alas, it’s really scary. I quickly got him away and didn't take pictures. But I didn't tell the front desk when I thought I was gone the next day. The good one is that the cleaning will be available every day, and then it is not bad, but I suggest that you can give a brand, so that you need to clean it and list it, so as not to clean it directly. This is good. I didn't contact you in other stores before. Clean. The facilities are OK, after all, the price is here, this configuration is barely enough, but the TV can't watch and there is no network. The service is also very warm, and the younger brothers and sisters at the front desk are also very good. Overall, it is OK, but the hygiene is still a bit scary for me. The weather will be hotter in the future, so I hope to pay attention to it.

The location is very good. It takes less than two minutes to see the hotel from the subway station. The hotel lobby is on the 8th floor. It is very good to store luggage for two days after check-out. However, the software and hardware of the room are not good enough. If you want a good location, choose this place. Later, I stayed at the Bell Tower Station in Xi'an, which was not as good as this one

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

This was my first time staying solo in a hotel in China. And what a lovely experience! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, even though my Chinese is limited. I had no issues at all! I felt very safe at all times. The room was very large and the bed was so comfortable!! There was a bathtub and desk And good AC. The room was kept tidy and they restocked the water and even orange juice in the fridge!  they also offer a handful experience for a reduced price which was definitely worth it! The women who did the handful experience were so friendly!! I would 100% recommend this hotel! It’s also very easy to find on the map as it is so close to the ancient city wall, within walking distance to the Bell Tower and close to a lovely park and convenience shop . 

About 35 square meters, the transportation convenience is average, and the price/performance ratio is average. Health: Not bad Environment: The surroundings are quite satisfactory. Service: The front desk is still very welcoming Breakfast: I really dislike the travel group.

The hotel is fine, but the pictures are way too flattering. All in all it is clean but decadent, flakey walls and broken things (like the shower nozzle or the shower door). It's cheap, so you get what you pay for, I guess, and our stay wasn't unpleasant. Clean sheets and very kind staff, free laundry service help having a good memory, but the noisy street and the view on a narrow alleyway in front of a tall building don't.

Great stay. English widely used here and easy for foreigners to intermingle with Chinese guests and staff. Also super clean and central to all the good stuff in Xian.

Super hostel with an unbeatable price ! Rooftop, BBQ Terrace with summer vibes (closed when I was there because the owner was sick). In the middle of the Muslim Quarter, close to its Mosque. Walkable distance to the Bell Tower. You can buy drinks and food at the same price you would pay in a convenience store. Microwave, hot water dispensers and a shrink to wash your cup/portable fork/knife/spoon. Free towel bath. The reception was lovely ! I ordered a package, but the delivery company was not able to find us. I asked for help to the reception, and they helped me solve this issue. Thank you for your work ! Only bad points for me : it is a Chinese building - the toilets are very close to the shower and there is no separation. Toilets and the floor will get wet. And you will walk there and put water around the room. There are no toilet flip-flops to avoid your shoes get wet.

Located near to CityWall. For those who wish to stay near to the CityWall, I recommend you stay at this hotel. There are a garden near the city wall and at night there are pubs and live music across the wall. You can visit their morning market near the wall. There are some restaurants near the hotel and you explore behind the hotel, there is a restaurant that serve barbecue meat and local food

The facilities are very complete, the front desk lady is very enthusiastic, it is very convenient to check in and check out, and a small gift is given at check-out, which is very convenient for business trips. It is not far from Xi'an Station and Xi'an North Station, I like it very much.
