Xi＇an Lianhu District 4-star Hotels

The hotel was in a great location. It’s right beside the Muslim quarter so there’s so much street food. There’s also food chains like McDonald’s and kfc and Starbucks near by. The Great Mosque is only 5 minute walk and so is the drum and bell tower. The room was nice and clean and had the basics. The only negative was the AC was not great. It doesn’t cool the room but this is probably due to central air conditioning being controlled by the hotel which is common with most places in China. The staff were nice even though they had limited English. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you want easy access to the different tourists attractions!

Location is great nearby huimin market/bell tower/drum tower/great mosque and nearby zhounglou st. Suggest to take exit 8 from the zhonglou st walk to the hotel. I took exit 9 or 1, but unfortunately the escalator of the road was off, hence made me difficult to find the hotel with some luggages. Staff is friendly and helpful eventhough they have some limitation in english speaking but they were trying to help us. Hotel name in didi app called as Feiman hotel. Suggest the hotel add english name (Feiman) on the hotel building instead of only Chinese character name.

Clean, friendly staff and I guess budget friendly but it’s worth the penny. Location is alright can commute using the E-bikes and most locations are close by. Unfortunately they couldn’t let us eat breakfast on the floor due to the restrictions, so can’t really comment on what I got would love to enjoy a bigger spread. All in all it’s good.

Excellent service from check in to check out. English speaking staff made things much easier when we had questions about our stay. The room was a comfortable size. The addition of a soft and a firm pillow was great and allowed us to sleep well. The room was a little hot and we couldn't get any cool air from the air conditioning unit- a fan in the room would have been handy and would have made the stay even more comfortable. The bathroom was clean, spacious and the toiletries smelled amazing! The breakfast was definitely more Chinese than western, but it was fresh, varied and delicious. The location of the hotel is great. The subway is only 5 minutes walk away which is a bonus for getting around Xi'an. It was also nice to be able to see the city walls from our window. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again if we find ourselves in Xi'an in the future.

I never spent more than 1min to write a review but this time I will write a very long one. A good one. From my 10 years travelling in China, this is the first time I gave a hotel Full marks! And it is not just from me, even my children gave the hotel full marks! We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel because the Service offered by the staff (especially the ladies at the Reception) is the best we ever have. You can have the most luxurious fittings, but if there is no good service staff, the hotel simply has no soul. This hotel has the soul - I congratulate Mercure for having such excellent staff in this hotel. We checked in at around 3.30pm on 9 November and from there, we can already feel the service offered by a group of ladies (led by 琴姐 OR琪姐 - forgot her name). The room was not ready and during the 30mins wait, the Receptionists offered us drinks and pastries to keep us occupied. And given that the weather is cold, they offered us warm water instead of normal room temperature water. One lady was also helpful to offer us breakfast at a discount. The room was very well kept, TV is very huge size (probably 85”) and every day housekeeping is tip top. Everywhere we move around in the hotel, we were greeted by the staff. When we have issues and seek help from the staff, you can feel that they are genuinely helping to find a solution and thinking from your situation (rather than just give a mechanical answer and brush you off). The best part is even the Housekeeping aunties will ask you to wear more clothing to keep warm because the weather turns cold (it was Xian first snow). So thoughtful! Even the laundry room has bottled water and TV program you can watch while waiting for your laundry to dry. Throughout the stay, we felt like we are at home! It is also centrally located with many eateries and shops nearby. The MRT exit B is just 20m away from the hotel. Macdonald is right beside. The only shortcoming is the toilet - there is no separation curtain or door between the shower area and toilet. As a result, water from the shower head will splash onto the toilet and the floor become very wet. This can be very dangerous for old people or children. The hotel may want to look into this. Overall, this is best hotel we had stayed in and the hotel that makes us feel like home in our 12 days trip across China. Well done to the team at Mercure XiAn Bell Tower! When I went to Chongqing, I booked Meilihao, and I still booked with them in Xi'an. The experience is much better than in Chongqing. First, the staff at the door holding the luggage will take the initiative to help carry the luggage to the front desk. The front desk staff will help bring tea and towels. The beautiful front desk even upgraded to a deluxe king bed room! The room is huge ~ very nice! The lobby manager Liu Hao informed some basic facilities of the hotel, the time for afternoon tea and late night snacks~ He took the initiative to add WeChat and responded to requests~ There were also other hotel friends who took the initiative to say hello every time they met~ My son said he must give a big like👍 ! This trip to Xi'an ended early because my son was ill. Next time I come, I will definitely stay at Meilihao! By the way, the transportation is very convenient. It seems that his home is in the alley after exit D of Line 6, and there is a public security bureau next to it! Absolutely safe! 711 is also at the subway entrance! A great place to get some peace and quiet! Five minutes walk from the clock tower!

The service is good. Although the decoration of the old store is a bit old, it has a lot of experience in opening a store and is thoughtful. The store has prepared laundry next to the basin in advance. The small bag is enough and will not be wasted. It is just right for use. Thank you.

Stayed for three consecutive days during the Spring Festival. Needless to say, the location of the hotel is very convenient. Public transportation such as the subway is very convenient. The Gulou Muslim Street in the Bureau is also very close (the only tip is not to drive there by yourself during the holiday peak. Traffic control is easy at the door), hardware and services They are all in place, and they even extended my free parking for half a day. If you book in advance, it is very cost-effective and highly recommended.

Definitely the first choice for cost-effectiveness! The location of the hotel is very good. There are Ma Hong Xiao Chao Mo and Ziwu Road Zhang Ji nearby, both of which are delicious. The Ancient Capital Culture Hotel embodies the culture of the ancient capital of Chang'an and has convenient transportation. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the Bell Tower and it is also very convenient to go to the city wall. The subway is the best transportation option. The environment is very good and the service staff is also very friendly. After all, it is a long-established hotel that has been open for 20 or 30 years. The breakfast is also very good and has a variety of varieties. There are also Xi'an snacks such as rice cakes, oil tea, etc. I will visit Xi'an again in the future. Will choose this hotel again.
