I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—just right outside Zhonglou Metro Station, making it super convenient to get around Xi’an. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice bonus. One of the highlights is the view of the Bell Tower, which you can see immediately after stepping out of the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Xi’an!

I feel very comfortable and satisfied. The hotel is in a prime location, convenient for travel, and there are abundant shopping and dining facilities nearby. The hotel has all the necessary facilities, is clean and tidy, and the service is cordial and friendly. I look forward to staying here next time.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Locust Homestay. You can tell the owner really cares about his guests. During our stay there was some work being done in the road out front and the owner made sure to help us with our bags coming in and when we left and also offered a complementary room upgrade along with complementary imported coffee and gave us some local treats as a condolence for the issue. He always went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The hotel is newly renovated, very stylist and has great views from the third and fourth floors. We would definitely come back if we are ever in Xi’an again.

The hotel has everything you’d ask for. Definitely the best 4 star hotel at this price range. Very central location. Walking distance to the Clock Tower and the pedestrian streets for food and souvenir shops. Very close to the metro station. Very bathroom design. Shower is one of the bests. Spacious room. Customer service is exceptional. You can communicate with front desk via WeChat. There’s a robot to deliver what you need at night. Offers bottled water for free. There’s a gym and laundry room with free detergent and softener, which are both open for 24 hours. Would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Xi’an, especially for the first time.

Love the location of this hotel. Just one step away is the SkyTrain station It makes easy access to other attractions . Walk across is the Bell tower and shopping mall. Some rooms can even see the Bell Tower from the window. I have requested a room with a view of the Tower, but they upgraded me to a room with a balcony. Which is a bit disappointed but still ok I have a balcony. The hotel is beautiful and clean. At least I didn't smell the cigarettes. The receptionist is very helpful, a lady from the travel agency is always there to answer the tourists about Xian attractions. The water bottle is free and they put it right by the elevator on each floor. The breakfast is ok and the restaurant is big. I highly recommend this hotel. I really like the location and all the declarations of the hotel. If I come back to Xian, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is newly renovated, nicely decorated with good artistic tastes and well located. The rooms are clean and cozy, with modern electronic equipment. There are free washing machines and dryers available, and, a gym too. Next to the reception, there is a bar and a dining area. Everything is impeccable. What's make this hotel different is their exceptional service. The front desk staff are very caring and attentive. They are accommodating and always willing to help. During our 6 nights stay, they helped us with all our requests and questions. When you are in a 5-star international hotel, the doorman would find a taxi for you. There is no doorman at this hotel, but, the staff went all the way to help us in a heavy rain. In Xi'an, with such a rain, it's difficult to get a car service, and, impossible to find one for a short distance. Two staff used their own accounts to try to reserve car a for us. And, when it failed, they grabbed umbrellas and our luggage, and accompanied us to the nearest bus stop. They waited with us in the rain until the bus arrived. One told the driver to tell us where to get off. He made sure that we would be able to pay the bus fare, and, was willing to pay for us. We went to different countries, we have stayed in 5-stars international hotels before, we never had such sincere, spontaneous help. It's the best hotel in Xi'an. Keep up the good work ! The hotel reception and communal areas were very clean, but the corridor leading to the rooms looked dirty and lacked air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. The room also didn’t match the pictures shown on Trip.com, which was a huge disappointment at first. However, the staff later improved the situation by replacing a dirty cushion, and the reception staff’s service was truly outstanding. My only criticism is the overall quality of the room.

What a wonderful, hospitable owner. The owner was extremely thoughtful and took really good care of all his guests. He took extra effort to prepare an early breakfast for a European family who wanted to leave early for the terracotta museum and helped them rebook the taxi when he observed that the allocated vehicle was too small for the family of 4. I enjoyed having conversations with the owner, covering anything under the sun helping to break the monotony of solo travel. The place is located in a quieter area, but surrounded by the traditional Chinese food stalls, local market, chic restaurants and bars and trendy cafes and bakeries. Clean and tidy, the big living room on the ground floor to relax or for some, a spot to some work.

Overall, it was quite good! The location is super convenient for a family of three on a 6-day, 5-night trip. The subway entrance is literally 10 meters to the right downstairs, and Exit 7 of the underground passage also provides quick access to the hotel. The laundry room was always busy; although the washers ran non-stop, the dryer had issues, but they were promptly fixed the very next day. From our room, with the curtains open, we had a view of the Bell Tower. The night market downstairs was also bustling, perfect for grabbing a snack whenever we felt like it. We sampled a few things and found them to be quite good. The young staff at the front desk were incredibly enthusiastic and always willing to help with any requests – a truly passionate team. Breakfast was decent, though we'd suggest adding a bit more variety. The only minor drawback was that our street-facing room was a little noisy. However, after a full day of sightseeing, we were usually so tired that the street noise didn't bother us much in the end. 😁 If we visit again, we'd likely choose this place. One final note: we booked the hotel's Terracotta Warriors day tour, and our experience wasn't great – it was just mediocre. Although it didn't include entry to the main attraction, it featured a show called 'The Revival Army' and an AR mirror experience. If you opted not to watch them, you'd be stuck waiting at the visitor center for nearly two hours. My child wanted to see it, so my husband took him. I, on the other hand, spent 29.9 at a foot spa outside the visitor center, enjoying the air conditioning and a comfortable seat, as the visitor center itself was quite underwhelming. All in all, Xi'an is definitely worth another visit!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's surrounded by fantastic food options like Chahua Lane Milk Tea, Ziwulu Zhangji Roujiamo, and Biangbiang Noodles, along with souvenir shops. In the evenings, there's a lively night market nearby offering delicious and affordable street food! The hotel also provides complimentary laundry facilities. Our room was equipped with a Xiaodu smart assistant, a smart bidet toilet, and a mini-fridge. My only minor suggestion would be for the front desk staff. We occasionally noticed impatient expressions on their faces, which unfortunately slightly detracted from our overall impression of the hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and, overall, were very satisfied with the comfort of our room. The bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable. We look forward to staying here again.
