The hotel was wonderful. Room was spacious and clean, although a little tired and could use some renovation, but the amenities are so great that it covers. Bedding was so comfortable and the texture was so great! Staff are all super friendly, polite and helpful. I really enjoyed my time here. After a day of sightseeing, it really felt like returning to home. Only thing is that it’s a bit of a walk to the metro station. But I love how it is so close to the museum!

Our butler at the Elegant Hotel presented us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; they contacted us in advance and arranged for a room on a non-smoking floor. We also received a fruit platter and welcome gifts in our room. Overall, our experience was excellent. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Minibar: A complimentary Coke and Sprite are restocked daily. While these aren't high-value items, it really speaks volumes about the hotel's thoughtful hospitality. Service: Housekeeping responded promptly after we pressed the service button. For laundry service, simply dial '0' to the front desk, and a staff member will collect your items, which are then returned dried and neatly packaged. They even have robots delivering takeout orders directly to your room door – super convenient!

I had an amazing experience at the Ritz Carlton, Xi’an. The room was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylish, well-decorated and modern. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, well-equipped and the shower was amazing. The staff were all so warm, professional and attentive. The food at both restaurants was incredible delicious, fresh, beautifully prepared with a wide variety of cuisines. The spa service was divine. I would not consider staying anywhere else on ny next visit.

one of the very best hotels in town. Lacey was super helpful and I enjoyed my hospitality with her. Would highly recommend this hotel among others in shenyang city. Location at center of center in town, shopping and food center within 1min walking distance. Will come back here again for sure. Best of all be this place has a special positive energy that will flows thru your entire trip. Enjoy!

The location is super convenient—just a 10-minute walk to Dashita Metro Station, which is a nice stroll, especially in winter. There are also a few shops nearby where you can grab a quick dinner. However, if you’re a light sleeper who gets easily disturbed by car honks, this hotel might not be the best choice for you. As for the price, it’s quite affordable in my opinion. You can also leave your luggage at the hotel if you plan to explore the city before heading to the airport. The staff are very friendly, despite the language barrier. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here! One thing to note—the bathroom is made of glass, so it might feel a bit awkward if you’re staying with friends (haha). You know what i mean here. I also had a breakfast coupon but never got around to using it because I was too lazy to go downstairs. Sorry, I don’t have any photos to share!

The hotel is very new, the rooms were very spacious. It was very easy to get around to the different tourist locations. The biggest issue I had with the room was that no matter how many times we left the AC running it would never go below 25 degrees Celsius even when we set it to 19 degrees. We told the front desk and they sent someone to the to fix it twice and it still didn’t work. Lastly, there was a drain fly problem in the toilet where I killed on average 7-10 small black drain flies everyday. We had to keep the toilet door closed at all time to ensure that they don’t fly out to the main bedroom. The staff were very quick to offer a different room but as we were only staying for a short time and it wasn’t super hot we felt it was too bothersome to change and move everything.

Stayed over Christmas and was a really great stay with everything I needed. Lovely staff who were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but nice. Rooms were large with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Was in a fairly good location. Easy to get to.

The receptionist DaisyLi was friendly and attentive. She helped arrange a high-floor room with a great view. It was a pleasant stay. The welcome fruit in the room was fresh and delicious. The details were thoughtful and considerate.

My recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an truly impressed me and left me feeling incredibly welcome! From Annie's initial contact after booking to confirm my check-in time, through the smooth check-in process and my entire stay, the front desk team was incredibly pleasant and always greeted us with sweet smiles. They patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions and proactively introduced the hotel's facilities. Annie's thoughtful and attentive arrangements made our Xi'an trip even more perfect. The hotel's breakfast was a delightful surprise. It offered a wide variety of options, featuring not only a range of classic Chinese dishes but also exquisite Western pastries, fresh fruits, salads, and more, truly catering to the diverse tastes of all guests. The comfortable dining environment made the meal a truly pleasant experience. Once again, I'd like to thank Annie for her warm hospitality, which made my Xi'an trip even more wonderful.

After discussions with Krysta Feng Jingwen, the Duty Manager on July 17, 2025, I've agreed to leave a positive review for your hotel. However, I will thoroughly detail the unpleasant incident that occurred, and I hope the hotel deals with it strictly! 😡😡 On the 14th, my family and I checked into the Meliá Hotel. I'd like to thank a handsome, bespectacled gentleman at the front desk for arranging room 5015 for us, which faces the Tang Paradise. It's right next to the Presidential Suite, and the view is absolutely fantastic. Regarding cleanliness: I particularly want to commend Aunt Liu Hongwei for being so responsive and always willing to help, and for her warm hospitality. Her dedication made my trip much more comfortable. As we were traveling with elderly parents and young children, we booked an executive room type. I'd like to thank the two lovely young ladies in the Executive Lounge, Talia Liu Yunqiao and Kyra Tong Guohua. Their service was impeccable, and they always greeted us with a smile. I hope hotel management gives them a generous reward! 😘😘 Here’s what happened: (Full video recording available, not public) The unfortunate incident occurred on the afternoon of July 16th. I appreciate Duty Manager Liu accepting my suggestions that day, but I absolutely do not approve of his initial attitude! While exploring the hotel, we walked through a side door (to the left of the breakfast restaurant). Once outside, we found only a ramp and wanted to go back in, but discovered the door wouldn't open. We asked a female staff member at the restaurant reception to help open it, but were told it was a fire exit, exit-only. This staff member's attitude was firm: 'This is a fire exit, exit-only,' and she gestured for us to walk to the main entrance 500 meters away. Another male staff member, whom I 'admire' (sarcastic), rolled his eyes and walked away. 🙄🙄 I have to ask, is it a characteristic of your hotel for staff to look down on guests? 😅 That day, the temperature was over 40℃, and we had to walk back to the lobby 500 meters away under the scorching sun, absolutely fuming. I started to feel a bit unwell at that point; perhaps the heat combined with my anger pushed me to my breaking point, making my whole body tremble uncontrollably. The female restaurant staff member rudely stated (with a disdainful look, shouting), 'This is a fire exit, you can't come in, those are the rules.' I'd like to know, how can a hotel that has been operating for over a decade not even have a 'fire exit' sign, not even a small plaque? I was made to walk this unnecessary distance and then subjected to such humiliation. I felt utterly wronged! 😒 If you see someone taking the wrong way, shouldn't you first open the door to let guests inside before telling them it's a fire exit? How does the hotel conduct its training to produce such 'excellent' (sarcastic) staff? I requested to speak with a manager. Duty Manager Liu immediately started with evasive language to shirk responsibility, repeating that it was a fire exit, also with a condescending tone. You might think I'm young and easy to appease with a few words, but does being a 16 or 17-year-old hotel guest mean I'm not a customer? There was no apology whatsoever; he immediately started condemning me. Firstly, I came to offer suggestions, not to argue. Secondly, though I am young, I am still a customer. Please do not discriminate based on age, thank you! I once again thank Manager Liu for accepting my suggestions, and I hope you will treat every customer fairly and live up to your title as 'Duty Manager.' At check-out the next day, I was very grateful to Manager Feng Jingwen for the thoughtful gift and for how she handled the aftermath of the incident. Manager Feng treats guests like family, which made me feel very pleased 😊. She is an excellent manager, and I suggest the hotel promote her and give her a raise! 😂 Finally, I want to reiterate my special commendation for: Aunt Liu Hongwei; Talia Liu Yunqiao; Kyra Tong Guohua; Krystal Feng Jingwen. You are standard-bearers for the Meliá Hotel's image. I wish you all success in your work, and promotions and raises! I also hope Manager Liu corrects his shortcomings, takes Manager Feng as a role model, and fulfills his duties properly. As for the two 'inexperienced' staff members at the restaurant reception, I urge the hotel to strengthen their training, take this incident to heart, and ensure they serve every customer well.
