This has been our favourite hotel so far on our multi-week trip across China. It is amazing value for money. The breakfast buffet was extensive. It was a nice savings to have coffee available in the morning. They have a large children’s play room, roof top garden and communal laundry room.
The hotel is conveniently located. It’s close to the subway, which made it easy to get to-and-from the hotel. It’s also close to Muslim street and other food street, so there were plenty of options!
It was pretty clean. There was daily housekeeping, which included changing towels and replenishing disposables. They were inconsistent with replacing bedding, which was was not an issue, but it seemed odd. There were laundry facilities and breakfast, which was greatly appreciated!
A few nitpicking details:
The ad states that front desk spoke English. There was one person that spoke a bit of English to me, but most of time, I had to use a translator on my phone. There weren’t any issues, but it was not as fluid as some other places that listed English.
On Trip.com, it said we were eligible for a free room upgrade, which I believe we received. (It’s hard to tell from the photos.) It also said we were eligible for a free airport pick-up. They did not list railway station pick-ups at all, so I asked if they treated them the same. Unfortunately, the offer did not extend to the railway station, although they do offer railway station pick-ups for a price.
