Yuecheng Washe Travelling Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower South Gate)

I liked staying here, the location was great and it was clean. A lot of bars and restaurants around.

We booked the smoke-free business room, which was very spacious but not smoke-free. It was clear that the previous tenant had smoked in the room and smoke could come inside easily because of the smokers in the hallways. The people at the desk were very willing to help with anything you asked (though no English speakers, so keep your translate app near!), but sometimes a bit shy. So there were no introductions on where to go in the city. I think this is also more a hostel, as our sheets and towels were not cleaned during our 3 night stay. There is a washing machine which was very convenient, so we were very kindly helped with using the machine. There are also some adorable cats and the location is very near all the cute cafes, coffeeshops, convenient stores and bars and just a 12 minute walk from the metro station, so a great location! The place could do a bit of a freshup, as there was water damage on the walls from the aircon and some walls could use some repainting or recoverage.

Great location near wall and close to main road without being noisy. Restaurant and convinient store around the back. Clean and big room with a nice tea area in room. Also help me store luggage before my check in because I arrive Xian early.

We stayed for a night before moving onwards to Luoyang. The receptionist is helpful and directed us to the nearby eating places and gave some advice on using the Chinese apps as it's our first day in the country.

Fucked up hotel,u need to wait 1hour for open the gate and enter to the lobby,I called police at that time, never go to this hotel again

ok. Kind of odd looking layout. Looks like it was renovated from another purpose building. Wifi and bed good. Reasonable value for the central location.

The hotel location is in the right place, next to the City Wall of Xi'An, and it is very easy and convenient to take a metro or bus nearby. The hotel is surrounded by different small stores and coffee shops. We spent three days there, and we were pleased with their service, amenities, and hygiene. For a short trip, it is a good hotel to stay at.

Our stay at this hostel in Xian was truly delightful! The location within the old city walls, close to the west gate, was perfect for exploring the historical charm of Xian. We were surrounded by an array of amazing restaurants and charming cafes, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful, and it was a relief to find that some of them spoke English, which made communication easier for us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This trip to Xian was the first time my parents and I visited the city, and thanks to the warm hospitality and convenience of this hostel, we had an unforgettable time. We are already looking forward to returning and creating more beautiful memories in Xian. The hotel is located in the downtown area, shopping, eating back, entertainment is very convenient, the front desk ha ha service is very good.
