This parador is one of our favourites as the staff are very attentive and the views are exceptional. However there are some issues which will stop us returning, sadly. For some bizarre reason the bedroom aircon is switched off out side of the summer season, which meant that our stay this time was unbearably hot at night. We would love to have had the patio door open but we were eaten alive by mosquitos and all the hotel could offer us was a fan to move the hot air around. We had three awful lights sleep, or lack of sleep. Who made such a stupid decision as to deny good paying guests the ability to have control over their own room temperature. There was an awful smell coming from the drains in our bathroom, which was probably due to an ill fitting seal on the toilet. We enjoy sitting in the bar at the end of the evening and having a glass or two of wine. On Saturday and Sunday nights, there was delightful lady serving who was attentive and quite jolly, however on the Monday night a young girl was serving who was clearly more interested in talking to her friends in the dinning room rather than looking after customers. When we rang the bell for service she had left the receiver behind the bar so we had to go in search of her to get a drink, nor Parador standards this trip at all.

Es un complejo tranquilo por la zona en la que está ubicado. Las piscinas están bien. El apartamento en el que estuvimos, está bien pero se nota que el mobiliario y el gres son de finales de los 90 o primeros de los 2000. Tienen ya su batalla y deberían plante**** seriamente una reforma. El acceso al párking subterráneo desde la calle, algo mal indicado y poco idóneo para el tamaño de los coches actuales. Dentro del párking, no parece ser un párking. Más bien da la sensación de que las plazas son trasteros reacondicionados a plazas de párking. Tampoco es demasiado ancho, lo que en algunas ocasiones dificulta las maniobras con el coche en su interior. El desayuno es buffet libre, pero bastante pobre puesto que la bollería, los fiambres y demás son de poca calidad. Los dueños de todo esto parece que son un matrimonio de británicos que ninguno de ellos habla ni papa de español, pues la mujer es la que se encarga del servicio de desayuno. El resto del personal, recepción, limpiadoras y servicio son españoles. La limpieza es correcta y en las habitaciones no hemos visto nada negativo que nos llamara la atención. Es una opción asequible por la zona.

Bien en limpieza. Excelente la variedad del buffet, no siempre encuentro varios pescados en almuerzo y cena. Genial tener diferentes tipos de queso como aperitivo más allá del habitual loncheado. En los ocho días he probado algunos arroces, buena variedad en su preparación. Lo peor del buffet es ver la cantidad que se sirven algunos y después tiran. Único reparo por nuestra parte: colchón de la cama demasiado blando, con un protector que no sé si por ser muy nuevo resultaba muy ruidoso, aunque como se llega agotado se duerme bien.

A truly delightful experience today at the Beach House for a UK Mother’s Day brunch. This was arranged by my step daughter from England. The food was delicious, fresh fruit & Greek yoghurt, followed by scrambled eggs, washed down with a glass of bubbly. It was topped off with a Belgium waffle. The whole experience was made even more special by the extra little touches by the restaurant - a strawberry cut into the shape of a rose and a scroll hoping I had enjoyed my brunch experience. The staff were very attentive, especially the Belgian manager. Thank you to everyone there but especially thank you to Alison, my step daughter who made it happen.
