"Fantastic little Inn. Stayed for one night between Lake District activities at honister and buttermere. Around a 30 minute drive from both. Across the road from bassenthwaite lake which was perfect to cool down in after an active day. We stayed in room 25 which was delightful! Perfect for a family of four. Lovely little communal garden with a picnic bench. Easy parking. Staff lovely, and food was great! Will definitely return!"

"This hotel was located within the scenic area of the Cumbria region. Although it looks very dated, but the rooms were really spacious and our room had a jacuzzi bath tub within. The Wifi connection was also wonderful despite being in a remote location. The provided meals were really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Overall, a wonderful experience. "

"It’s a lovely spot with a fantastic view and a welcoming host. The breakfast was delicious, and the fireplace adds a cosy touch. Just keep in mind that being an older English house, it might not be as spotless as some other places."

"This is a historic building dating back to 1548, experienced 11 owners and is now a spa hotel The hotel sits on a large area, with flocks of cattle and sheep in front of the door. The restaurant on the other side has a very good lake view and a large grass. Hares and squirrels often jump in the grass and woods. You can reach the lake by a small road or hike in the forest. You can feel it from the elevator, the hotel is very old The spa has a heated swimming pool, cold pool, hot pool, and an outdoor hot pool. It is really pleasant to face a large area of grass and woods. The only thing to note is: check out at 11 o'clock, be sure to go to the spa before check out, after 11 o'clock to add 20 pounds per person."

"The environment and facilities of the B&B itself are very good, and it is a very atmospheric accommodation. The biscuits in the room were delicious, and the meals provided by the B&B were also good, but not cost-effective (some dishes were a bit salty). The location is relatively remote, and I feel that people who stay here generally drive their own cars. We are a bit far away from Keswick and Derwentwater, and if the bus stops, we can only call to book a taxi. However, the overall accommodation experience is still very good!"
