Fantastic little Inn. Stayed for one night between Lake District activities at honister and buttermere. Around a 30 minute drive from both. Across the road from bassenthwaite lake which was perfect to cool down in after an active day.
We stayed in room 25 which was delightful! Perfect for a family of four. Lovely little communal garden with a picnic bench. Easy parking. Staff lovely, and food was great! Will definitely return!

The location was perfect, a very welcoming atmosphere in all areas, lots of banter with the staff who were all amazing. The breakfast was first class as were our evening meals. Beautiful outdoor area, grounds kept to a high standard. Looking forward to returning.

We had the most amazing stay at The Pheasant Inn. Stuart, Alison, Christine & all the staff made our week away perfect. Nothing was too much trouble & everyone was so friendly. The food was beautiful & piping hot just as we like it. We are definitely going to return to the Lake District & we will definitely be staying at The Pheasant Inn. Thank you so very much to all the staff & we hope to see you very soon.

The Pleasant Pheasant
Lovely friendly rustic Inn fabulous surroundings and really a great pleasure to visit.
Rooms comfortable well equipped and food in the restaurant was outstanding and not badly priced.
Breakfast was excellent!

Lovely property and location.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Some of the bar seating seemed a bit tired. Could do with some comfortable seating areas too.
For me the size of the room seemed very small for the price.
