We overnighted at this property on our way back from Florida. I would rate the accommodations adequate. The room was a bit ”used”, but clean. The cabinet that housed the refrigerator was broken, as was the cover on the AC unit. Neither of these issues affected our stay, though. The tissue box in the bathroom only had 3-4 tissues, which was not enough. The ice machine on our floor also was broken. Supposedly due to COVID, the breakfast was no longer self-serve. A staff member was positioned to serve guests. There were several guests waiting to place their orders at 6:30am, so we passed on the free breakfast and stopped at a fast food place instead...

I just wanted to share that room #110 at this Rodeway Inn on East Main Street has grab bars in the bathtub, even though this room was not an ADA room. I think every motel had grab bars in every bath room. I also appreciated the single serve coffee maker and the refrigerator in the room.

This hotel is excellent for anyone who needs to take a break from driving for a long time. It is located right next to the the intestate highways and is very convenient. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was good considering the price. The service was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were super fast and easy.

Called ahead to see if their pool was operating as this is important for our son. Was told it was working but when we got there was then advised it was out of order for 2 weeks. The room is needing upgrades; furniture dirty and rickety. Bathroom floor was soiled and needed mop. Carpeting looked dated and had stains on it. AM breakfast was a joke. The ham was dried up, there were few offerings and there was a server behind a series of tables that block your view of what was available in the refrigerators. Have stayed in many Choice hotels but was disappointed in this one. The beds were comfortable but the cold air leaking around the heating unit in the room, made it challenging to keep the room warm. Location on a hill could have been a factor on this windy day.

If I could give this entire hotel a -10/10 I would. Arrived late around 1130pm, checked in quickly and headed to my room, opened the door and someone else is sleeping in the bed. Poor lady almost had a heart attack!! What if this was the type of person who sleeps with a gun next to them?! Myself and my boyfriend could have died!!! I went back to the front desk explained the situation and turns out they gave me the wrong room “Oh woops! You’re supposed to be 142 not 143!” Yeah OBVIOUSLY. So I finally get to my correct room and I walk in and the whole place smells like someone had been smoking in there for 25 years. 1 out of the 3 lamps worked. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky and gross. The bath tub had dirt in it and the toilet seat was broken. It was so late and we had been driving half the day and I was too exhausted to even bother going back to the front desk. “It’s just one night and then I’m out as soon as the sunrises” was what I kept telling myself. I had a reservation for the following week for one night and when I checked out the next morning I cancelled it. When asked why I was canceling, by the same man who gave me the wrong room number the night before, I laughed and said “Well you were there when you all gave me the wrong room number for starters”. Then I explained how disgustingly dirty this whole hotel is. He proceeded to try to give me 20% off my next stay but didn’t even bother trying to apologize for the disaster that was my previous stay. 20% off for that would have been nice!!! I paid $130 for this piece of crap, I could have stayed at a nice, clean and well put together Marriott for that matter!!

We arrived at 2 am. To be greeted by a wonderful bright eyed happy to see us young lady. That never happens when we are running late. The next morning everyone had a great attitude and made for a great experience. Now to the room, fabulous, clean and so comfy. Indoor pool and hot tub looked great but we didn't use it still had 6 hours to drive so we left. If I could give 20 stars I would.
