The lady boss is really capable! Powerful and little humility
In addition to the tea garden at the door, there are bamboo forests and vegetable fields in my home! Isn't this the life that city people yearn for! !
On the day of our stay, the three of us booked the venue! The proprietress also showed us other room types. I can only say that every room has been carefully thought out, simple and new Chinese style, simple but not simple.
The breakfast is also very rich, and we also made our own coffee 🤪🤪. Very relaxing!

A very good homestay, the location is 40 minutes away from the high-speed railway station, the hotel has a pick-up station service, the manager and all the staff are very considerate, only to book the room, add WeChat, and provide considerate service all the way. Guide check-in, help with luggage, as well as welcome fruits, local snacks, tea, and desserts. The hotel environment retains the style of the original ancient building. The rooms are warm and elegant. The surrounding area is surrounded by indigenous residents. It’s really nice to walk in, the lotus in the hotel can be fished... The kitchen aunts cook pretty good food 👍. It is a place suitable for letting go of the soul and enjoying the rural life. Next time I come, I will choose!

Very quiet and beautiful village, adding a little beauty to the misty rain. Very beautiful and comfortable homestay, I can see the boss's careful layout, the bedding is also very good, sleep very comfortable, here is suitable for a leisurely stay for ten and a half days of the boss is very good, see me coughing to send a super-use cough medicine. The boss and his wife are very careful, the service is warm, and the room is upgraded for free. The house is authentic Huizhou architecture, which has been around for 200 years. I heard the store introduce the old salt merchants' houses of this generation in the past. The sanitary environment feels very good, but we didn't determine the time of arrival with the store. The air conditioner was turned on late and it was a bit cold. It is recommended to tell the store to turn on the air conditioner in the past! We are also in the store for dinner. The two local sisters really made a good dish. They were very delicious. There was also a dog manager. His net red dog was busy and followed the pick-up. He warmly entertained. I had to bring delicious food next time.

Our stay was nice. There are a lot of things to do nearby by taxi. The staff was very helpful to organise taxis and visits. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food for lunch or dinner was good, but we would recommend to stick to Chinese options, western desserts are not worth it.

Facilities: The facilities are complete. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It is very unique. The rooms are large and have balconies. The hotel has a pond, a rockery fountain, a lotus pond, koi, pavilions, and terraces. It feels like living in a scenic spot.
Hygiene: The hygiene is quite satisfactory, very clean and luxurious
Environment: Next to Wunuzhou, the hotel is connected to the north gate of the scenic spot, which is very convenient. This is the first time I know the Hui style of architecture. As soon as I enter the hotel, I feel very grand. It is even more beautiful when the lights are turned on at night. It feels like living in a painting.
Service: The service attitude is excellent, and they respond enthusiastically if I don’t understand. I will go to this hotel again when I come to Wuyuan next time. I highly recommend it

GGuest UserThe homestay is outside the scenic spot on Guling Mountain. The landlord and his family are very enthusiastic and help with luggage. The room is clean and the food tastes good. The vegetables are freshly picked from the vegetable plot. Green food. There is a ticket gate on the mountain. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the ticket office on the mountain. Buy tickets directly. Save the money to take the cable car, it is really convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot, come to Huangling to play, recommend their home. . . . .

GGuest UserService: The boss and the landlady are very polite. They will pick you up and drop off when arriving and leaving the store. They also gave 2 cans of local chrysanthemums as a gift when leaving the store.
Environment: To be honest, parking is not very convenient. You have to park on the side of the road and cars cannot reach it directly. Although the boss will come to pick us up, it is still far away and requires a long walk. However, the same is true for the surrounding B&Bs, so expectations should not be too high.
Health: The room is newly renovated, very clean, and the bathroom is large.
Facilities: Three meals a day are provided, and the landlady can cook them. Everything you need is available, but the soundproofing of the wooden structure house is not very good. You can hear clearly the sounds of others walking up and downstairs and talking.
Note: If you live here, you don’t need to buy tickets online. You can go directly to a small gate to buy them. You save money on the cable car and don’t have to queue for the cable car. This is more convenient.

GGuest UserWe drove to the middle of the mountain, and the boss picked us up in a three-wheeled motorcycle. The journey was indeed a bit thrilling. The boss and his wife were very nice and tried their best to meet our needs. The dishes they cooked were also suitable, with large portions and reasonable prices. When we arrived in the afternoon, the boss took us to the entrance of the scenic area without having to buy a cable car ticket. When we came out in the evening, the boss also came to pick us up. GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage.
We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort.
The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up.
On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's.
A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about.
By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open.
It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
