Probably better in season. We stayed during the off season. The room was very cold and the aircon did little to heat it up. It was generally clean but some fixtures were so old and rundown that they appeared a little shabby. The bed and bedding was comfortable though. The owners were barely present and we had most exchange over the phone, which could be a issue for those not speaking Chinese.
