The place is great value for money! It's so cheap you can't complain. I had a great experience in the tea house opposite the road, the hostel owner's wife runs the teahouse. She also makes tea and it's really high quality stuff. I was so grateful to have met her, thank you!

A dilapidated and run-down hostel. Bathroom is filthy. Rooms are very basic. Mattresses are thin. Location is on the edge of town, far away from decent restaurants or shops. It's clear the place has much declined over the years, as there are faint vestiges of a once-thriving hostel. Those days are gone. The main upside is that staying here is very cheap, although you'll need to spend time and money to get breakfast in the area each morning. Only stay here if you're on a serious budget and don't mind dirt.

Amazing stay! The host was super kind, he showed me around and helped me plan my hikes for the next day. The bed was confortable, the view from the 4th floor was really nice. AC, clean bathroom, rather confortable bed. Perfect location to go hiking (buses are free). Highly recommend!

Very good explanations of the tour to do in the park over 2 days by the gentleman at the reception, well located. The hotel is completely abandoned. Of the 3 shower cabins: one has no pipe (only a tap), the second has no shower head, the third has no light. All extremely dirty, the third shower is the outlet of the water from the second, so it is a real footbath made up of the neighbor's shower water. The toilets were flushed on the second day of our stay. Not cleaned but well flushed, yet they could have done with more! On the 1st floor, the ambient smell is that of urine, as if the drain pipe has a slight defect... Clean sheets, fortunately.

It's really hot in Fujian. The six-person room on the top floor is even hotter. The 16-degree air conditioner made me unable to sleep. There is a toilet in the suite and the shower is on the top floor balcony and the second and third floors. Thank you to the proprietress for giving us a cup of Wuyi rock tea worth 2 nights’ room charge. It’s really good.
