The hotel is rated as a five-star hotel, but the interior is very old-fashioned and mediocre. The TV is equipment from 15 years ago, and the foreign signal cuts out every five minutes. Although we brought children and the hotel description mentioned child-related amenities, there were no children's bathrobes or slippers. After calling, we were given adult versions instead. The mattress was okay, but the water flow in the bathroom was almost non-existent, and the ceiling shower was basically unusable. When checking in, they directly informed us that there would be no hot water starting from 8 AM the next day, with no apologies, just saying that if you need hot water, don't use it after 8 AM the next day. This is the quality of their five-star rating.

I had a great stay here. Excellent bed, bath tub, swimming pool etc. The hotel is a little old and is tough to spot at first but I loved it here. It was nice and quiet, easy check in etc. Tons of things around, I recommend the ”#65 coffee shop” up the street. The pool was good. The changing room in the pool was a bit old but it didn't affect me. Nice gym. Staff were all very pleasant, easy to get deliveries etc. Would definitely stay again. Excellent for the price especially.

I called the front desk three days before checking in to ask about the pool temperature and other issues. The front desk was very unprofessional and asked me to call the gym. The attitude was very arrogant. I saw a comment on Ctrip saying that the room could be upgraded, so I asked if the room could be upgraded. The front desk said that only Huazhu members could upgrade, and neither Ctrip nor ** customers could upgrade. I said that I had clearly seen other people's comments. She said that you can only upgrade on the hotel app. The answer was very blunt and looked down on Ctrip customers. Fortunately, the housekeeper Yinzi's service was very good and met my requirements. Of course, I also paid for the upgrade. Also, be careful when renting the parent-child car at the entrance of the hotel. They are all broken. We just scanned the code and couldn't drive it. Also, the small bubble pool in the hotel was not clean, and there was suspended hair and so on. The coffee machine in the restaurant is recommended to be upgraded to one that can only make American coffee. I came to Wuxi for a 2-day trip during the Qingming Festival. As an IHG member, I usually choose Crowne Plaza/InterContinental. I visited Huishan Ancient Town on the first day. I searched nearby and found the Crowne Plaza was the closest, so I went there to stay. The front desk lady Echo Si was kind and sweet. Because I used points to redeem room upgrades on Ctrip, the lady immediately helped me make the best choice. Nai Si! The room was on the 19th floor and was big enough. However, I have a small complaint that the room had a peculiar smell. It felt like it came from the carpet. The hardware facilities were relatively old and the air conditioning temperature was not very low. Overall, the service was perfect, but the hardware was a little worse😅

This is the 4th time we stay in this hotel, will choose to stay there again when we need to visit Wuxi again. Needless to say to say, it’s located just right at the high speed rail and metro, and many food options in the station. The new and big shopping mall right beside should be ready by now, but we did not go to the mall, so we are not exactly sure. Our colleague said that there’s also a f&b street with drinking pubs just 5 minutes walk away. But do ask for directions if you are interested. This time, the hotel was really nice to upgrade us to the suite rooms, despite us only booking the standard rooms. The room has very big and nice bathroom, wardrobe, with separate bedroom and living room space. Definitely highly recommended.

We chose to stay at Pullman Wuxi Xinhu Hotel for a business trip... Mike arranged everything from the communication before the trip to inform us of our room preferences. When we left the hotel, the charger was left in the room and it was discovered by the housekeeping department who gave it to Mike and contacted us. He was very proactive and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. He was very thoughtful and gave us a big thumbs up... I will choose this hotel next time... This time I chose the Marriott Hotel in Wuxi. The hotel environment and hygiene are as good as ever. Wuxi Marriott is located close to Liyuan Garden, which can be reached within 10 minutes on foot. Initial plan was to stay at the Orange hotel near Wuxi railway station but was fully booked so stayed here instead. But it turn out to be a blessing in disguise. This location is so convenient. There is a family mart next to the hotel, the Metro entrance is next to the hotel, there are many great eateries within 2-5min walk away from the hotel. Inside the family mart, you have access to excellent coffee 24hrs. In the morning, there's also warm soya milk drink. The room itself has an outdoor area where I can smoke while taking a break from work. With this outdoor area, the bedroom remains smoke free. Simply excellent. The city view faces the sanyang plaza area where the brightly-lit buildings spruce up the quiet of the night. The buffet breakfast has a good spread of simple local and western dishes which make excellent breakfast! This hotel is simply great value for money!

The hotel location is great. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The direct entrance to the hotel lobby is under construction so we have to cross a bridge with our luggage. But the staff come out to help us carry the luggage to cross the bridge. It helps so much. And they even borrow us umbrella once it starts raining.
