AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.

There were two large beds, which were very comfortable. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. It was very cold when we went out during the day, so we had to wear more clothes. It was very comfortable to take a hot shower when we came back at night. The store owner was afraid that the house would be cold, so he prepared an electric heater. In fact, the house was very hot, so he opened the gate for a while at night to cool it down. The boss was also very nice. We climbed to the top of Dailuoding at 12 o'clock that day, and it was time to check out. We contacted the boss, and he was very nice. He told us not to worry. It was already past 1 o'clock when we came down. The boss sent me a WeChat message asking me where I was. He was not urging me, but was afraid that we would encounter danger when we went down the mountain. In the end, we checked out at more than 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The boss was really very nice.

I slept at 11 o'clock in the evening on the first day. At 3 o'clock in the morning, I was awakened 3 times. I was awakened again at 6:30 in the morning. It was very noisy. I immediately communicated with the boss. The boss said that it was the reason for my window to be open, but whether the window is opened or not, it is very, very noisy, and there will be noise outside. I told the boss that I opened the window because the room smelled big. The boss replied to me. This year, the new one was opened and it has been a year, but I still feel that the taste is a bit heavy. Maybe I am more sensitive to the taste. The next day, the boss helped me change to the 3rd floor. It was quiet. It is not recommended to live on the first floor of my set. Then, I can feel that the owner of the hotel is running this homestay with care. The attitude is also very good, and the homestay is also clean. Overall, it is not satisfactory, but there is no dissatisfaction, just general.

VVaruneshWūtaishan is in itself a sacred place of pilgrimage of utter magic and life, staying in Tingfengyin Inn was an added charm of sheer care and concern. The Inn has a really sacred feeling, situated next to the Lush hills where the Bodhisattva of Wisdom impregnates his being to the core, in calm and quiet and in a traditional Chinese setting, the managers of this inn were always there to help and watch out for all sorts of needs for the pilgrim. Indeed, the spacious room, the beautiful view, to contemplate life while sipping some very good tea, to have been provided with the ample supply of drinking water, to have all the utilities one may need in the room or the washroom, to have amazingly ergonomic storage spaces, to have the possibility of having an early morning breakfast, the Inn has been excellent in providing a homely feeling to the guests, and for that I am deeply thankful.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

I searched for Friendship Hotel on Ctrip and called the front desk. A boy at the front desk was very considerate and answered all my questions. I felt relieved to buy two rooms.
Checked in at night, the formalities were very fast, and there were plenty of parking spaces. The front desk and the room were not on the same floor, so you need to walk a distance outside. The room was not big, the bed was 1.5m, and the other furnishings were a little old, but they were enough. Free mineral water was provided, and we had no problem staying there. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. It was said to open at 7 o'clock. We were anxious to leave. We went there at more than 6 o'clock and found that it had already opened. Many people in the tour group were already eating.
Friends who have not been to Mount Wutai and are planning to stay in the scenic area and are not sure about the homestay, if you think the price is right, you can rest assured to choose this one. They are very large and you can see that they are a more qualified hotel in the local area. The service is very standardized. The location is not far from the core scenic area and the main road, and there are many restaurants at the door. We encountered an unforgettable heavy snow here. The only thing I want to remind you is that this hotel is built on the mountain, so the road is very steep. If it snows, ordinary cars are not very suitable.
