"Thank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the 阿姨 for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan."

"The boss and the staff are very enthusiastic. The inn is very convenient for transportation in the scenic area. At first, I thought it was very remote. I bought some food at the Taiyuan supermarket and brought it over. I didn't expect that I was overthinking it. This is a village with a lot of food. The inn provides Breakfast 7-9pm. Parking at the door is convenient and free of charge. The boss arranged a room for me and went downstairs to treat me to tea and snacks. It felt very good. I will choose here again in the future!"

"The newly opened inn in 2024 screened from Trip.com was fortunate to be attracted by the name Xiaoxuan. I clicked on the comments of other guests and deeply moved me. I decided to punch in with the attitude of trying it out. After arriving, the new Chinese decoration that came into view did see the owner's intentions. All the facilities in the store are clean and tidy, and the enthusiasm of the proprietress makes us feel at home, because I am afraid of the cold and specially arranged the warmest room for us. It is very considerate and highly recommended. I will choose Xiaoxuan next time.～"

"It's so satisfying! We decided to go to Mount Wutai on a whim and booked a homestay with a blind box. It turned out to be so good! The suite we booked is equivalent to a two-bedroom and one-living room. The room is very clean and tidy. Although it is the end of October, it is not cold at all. There is floor heating. It is no problem to wear short sleeves in the room. The store owner is very enthusiastic. We have a lot of luggage for three people and two dogs. The store owner helped us move one by one. We stayed for a day. It is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. Pets are very friendly. We put diapers on the two fur children and brought a nest. We didn't go to bed. When we go out during the day, the store owner will clean the room according to needs, disinfection is in place, the washroom is a smart bathroom heater, and the hot water for bathing is stable. The homestay is within the scenic area. If you stay in the homestay on that day, make an appoin**ent for the vehicle to enter Mount Wutai on that day, otherwise the car can't get in! If you don't know the tour route, ask the store owner, who will provide a route map, drink tea on the rooftop, and empty yourself, it's very comfortable!"

AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.
Looking forward to seeing you next time~

五台之行最滿意的！這次來住這因為沒定到萬豪和友誼賓館隨便挑了個看起來還行的民宿，沒想到完全超出預期！
特別乾淨，各種小設施都很貼心，最關鍵是老闆人真的很好，我們一行四人其實都是很挑剔的，但都對老闆讚不絕口，總是笑呵呵的，有任何合理需求都可以跟老闆溝通，甚至還問了老闆哪家菜好吃他沒有任何一點不耐煩（不要看了這條評價就亂提需求啊哈哈哈），累了一天回來很有歸家的感覺。
看到其他評價説稍微有點偏，我覺得沒有哦，很安靜，早餐後一般就出發去核心區了，午餐晚餐一般大家都在吃完後才會回來，我沒感覺到任何不方便，交通方面也很便利，我們自駕來的都有一天選擇坐公交出門，老闆還六點起床給我們一腳油門送到公交站（就一分鐘的事，折騰他都不太好意思）。早晨坐在床尾坐太猛了還損壞了一點床樑，我願意賠，老闆都沒跟我計較，這要是無良商家早漫天要價了。今天走的時候沒什麼人入住老闆還允許我們稍微晚一點點走，真好啊，北京郊區死貴的民宿不管後面有沒有人住都強制十二點退房。這個老闆真的是在合理範圍內最大程度讓人感到便利。
寫這麼多字我都有點震驚，在倫敦和法國等住到很滿意的民宿我都沒手動打這麼多字……
anyway，下次再來五台山還會住這家！衷心希望老闆生意興隆！

GGuest UserI often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple.
The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

There were two large beds, which were very comfortable. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. It was very cold when we went out during the day, so we had to wear more clothes. It was very comfortable to take a hot shower when we came back at night. The store owner was afraid that the house would be cold, so he prepared an electric heater. In fact, the house was very hot, so he opened the gate for a while at night to cool it down. The boss was also very nice. We climbed to the top of Dailuoding at 12 o'clock that day, and it was time to check out. We contacted the boss, and he was very nice. He told us not to worry. It was already past 1 o'clock when we came down. The boss sent me a WeChat message asking me where I was. VVaruneshWūtaishan is in itself a sacred place of pilgrimage of utter magic and life, staying in Tingfengyin Inn was an added charm of sheer care and concern. The Inn has a really sacred feeling, situated next to the Lush hills where the Bodhisattva of Wisdom impregnates his being to the core, in calm and quiet and in a traditional Chinese setting, the managers of this inn were always there to help and watch out for all sorts of needs for the pilgrim. Indeed, the spacious room, the beautiful view, to contemplate life while sipping some very good tea, to have been provided with the ample supply of drinking water, to have all the utilities one may need in the room or the washroom, to have amazingly ergonomic storage spaces, to have the possibility of having an early morning breakfast, the Inn has been excellent in providing a homely feeling to the guests, and for that I am deeply thankful.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

It was most convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping in Taihuai Town. The room is clean, the sheets are new, the mattress is very comfortable, the hot water is good and not as difficult to adjust as the reviews say. The breakfast was also very tasty. You can see the moon when you open the curtains at night, and you can see the clouds and mist on the mountains in the morning. The only regret is that the gap in the door is a bit large and there were people smoking in the corridor, so the smell of smoke in the room was a bit strong. If I have the chance to come to Mount Wutai again, I will definitely stay here again.
