The massive Wutai Mountain Marriott combines a spectacular facility with polished and friendly service, nothing was too much for the ever present and willing staff. Wu Tai Shan is a gem of a place to visit and the comforts of the Marriott certainly put the cream on the cake.

Everything is satisfactory, except that the second registration for entering the mountain needs more training. Someone at the front desk concierge said that there is no such service. My husband went to the highway to register before dawn and missed the bus back. Fortunately, the hotel's kind driver came to pick him up.

The room size, breakfast and view are not much to say about Marriott's standard. Booked two rooms: The facilities in the first room were of poor quality. Two sockets were broken, one located on the desk and the other on the washstand in the bathroom. I couldn't even charge my phone. The bathtub linkage screen was broken. It had no linkage function and could only be pulled one by one. The second room had a problem with the anti-theft door lock. After swiping the card, the handle could not be pulled normally to open the door. I returned to the room too late at night and didn't give any feedback. After checking out the next day and giving feedback to the front desk, the front desk didn't even say an apology or laugh it off, just pretending not to hear it. It is recommended that future guests check the room facilities before checking in.

I came to Mount Wutai with my friends. I thought that there would be no problem with the service of a five-star hotel. As a result, I was greatly disappointed! First of all, the hotel is in the scenic area. You can only enter by booking a vehicle. However, the booking platform was sold out within a minute, which was harder to grab than the Spring Festival train ticket! Because I failed to make a reservation, I drove a tram, and there was only a super old charging area nearby to charge, so it took us 3 hours to get into the hotel! All the charging piles in the hotel are idle! Since it is a five-star hotel, if you can't let guests check in smoothly, what kind of five-star hotel is it? Second, I didn't finish my breakfast in the morning because I was in a hurry, so I packed a cup of coffee and tea. Because I had my mobile phone and room card in one hand, it was impossible for me to hold two cups of hot tea and coffee in the other hand, so I asked the manager for a small bag, and he said there was no one and left! My arm was burned by the cup! Is this the attitude of a five-star hotel? Is it worthy of the room fee of 1,580 yuan per night?

I chose to stay at the Marriott Hotel when I went to Mount Wutai for the first time. The experience was very good. There is a small town outside the hotel. The supporting facilities are good, clean and well maintained. Here are a few specific points: First, when the plane arrived in Xinzhou on the morning of the 26th, the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area was closed due to heavy rain, so we could not check in. We called the hotel to communicate, and the hotel quickly handled the order changes. Secondly, as soon as the unblocking information came out on the 27th, we successfully entered the scenic area and arrived at the hotel. The service staff was enthusiastic, well-trained, and responsive. Because there were several places in the scenic area that were under construction and dust was severe, and I didn’t bring a mask myself, I asked if the hotel had a mask. The staff responded enthusiastically that they could go back to their office to get one for me. Unfortunately, the shuttle bus I ordered arrived early and I couldn’t get a mask, which made the young lady run in vain. I felt a little sorry. Finally, the hotel’s catering is not bad and can meet most of the needs of vegetarians. We called room service once, and the delivery speed was quite fast. The Margherita pizza and pasta were both at the standard, and the children devoured them. It would be perfect if some soy products could be added to the plain noodles or if soy products could be ordered separately. The only drawback is that there are some uncles and aunts who are heavy smokers among the hotel guests. They either smoke in the corridor of the guest room or in the restaurant. I advised them to put out their cigarette butts, but they only agreed verbally, and their fingers were still honestly holding the cigarette tightly. I guess the service staff were too young to dissuade them. The smell of smoke is really not friendly to sensitive noses. In short, the overall experience is good, and I will probably choose to stay at Marriott again if I come to Wutai Mountain next year.

The room is clean and tidy. The hotel can also upgrade the room type for free. There is a small shop on the first floor of the hotel where you can buy daily necessities and snacks. The town is right in front of the hotel, which is very beautiful.

The room was clean and the environment was good. The hotel also had a shuttle bus to go out, which was quite convenient. The surrounding Fanjingli was also nice. There were drone shows and situational drama performances at night. There were also many restaurants nearby, including Sichuan cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, and vegetarian cuisine.

The hotel service is good. It is very close to the South Gate. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest bus stop. Call the front desk to contact the shuttle bus. The breakfast is rich. In the morning, there is a hotel bus to the scenic spot. Register at the front desk one day in advance. You can arrange a four-hour tour guide to explain the scenic spot.

Last time I came to Wutai Mountain in 2021, I stayed here and loved it. I chose Marriott Hotel again this time. The environment, hardware and software are in place, and the room is super large. The breakfast is Marriott quality, 👍superb. If I have the opportunity to go to Wutai Mountain again, I will choose Marriott!

We chose Marriott among the few hotels. A little disappointed. 100 points for location, 80 points for decoration, 60 points for service, 40 points for production. Fortunately, I have been fasting recently, so I don’t care much about the production. My time is spent in various calorie calculations. Time is squeezed into the cluttered life. I am like a left-behind child who has lost his dream. I find strength in words and discover empathy in images. Then, I will laugh out loud because of the occasional fulfillment of my wish. I will also cut through the thorns on the thorny class road. Most of the time, I am still involved in various internal frictions. But now I am more willing to face the bleak problems and answer my true thoughts at the moment. There is no prevarication or perfunctory. No politeness. More of a discussion. Let the event itself develop in a good direction. Rather than stripping away the original intention to cater to personal preferences. Fortunately, I have met more and more friends. They have given me a vital, self-driven and restrained direction. When I am exhausted, I am still willing to keep a quiet heart.

The room is large, standard configuration, and the overall environment is good. The drone show in Fanjing at night is really amazing. I didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food. The hotel is close to the South Gate, so it is recommended to book a vehicle in advance to enter the scenic area.

This is my second time in Wutai Mountain. I chose Wutai Mountain Marriott for the second time. The service is good, the room is spacious, the TV function is a little less, the room rate is a little higher than last year, and it is very convenient to watch performances at night. It is not as convenient to get to the hotel from the ticket office as before. You have to take a bus for one stop and then take the hotel's shuttle bus.
