Hotels in Wuchang Higher Education Area, Wuhan

Located opposite the Optics Valley shopping district within walking distance and near East Lake, it is within reach of many places of interest. Staff are professional and friendly, but lack attention to details. There are plenty of facilities like swimming pool and gym but only accessible to members who own a yearly membership. These facilities are outsourced to third-party contractor. It doesn't make sense for travelers who stay for a few days to buy a year membership just to utilize the facilities.

Everything was exceptional but two things: 1. my room temperature was very hot 27C and I called to complain about it every morning during my stay. technician came and fix it but the problem happened the next day again and again... frustrating! 2. breakfast is very poor and low quality. really surprised me the hotel don't invest in good breakfast like other good hotels in Wuhan.

The stay experience exceeded expectations! The room is spacious and bright, with complete smart devices and high-speed WiFi that is stable throughout the entire stay. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the freshly cooked noodles are super warm ~ The front desk service is enthusiastic and efficient, and even the invoice issuance is properly arranged. I will choose this place again on my next business trip!

The accommodation environment is good, with complete gym and laundry facilities. It is very close to South Central University for Nationalities, just across the road. Public transportation and surrounding shopping are just outside your door, and the service is excellent!

Perfect location - next to a large shopping mall. Breakfast is quite good compared to other Holiday Inn express elsewhere. The bed is extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

I stayed here last year and it was pretty good. This time my family came to Wuhan and chose to stay here 1. The transportation is very convenient, not far from the subway station 2. The service attitude is very good 3. Few breakfast options 4. The sound insulation is very poor. The sound of the robot delivering food outside can be heard clearly in the room. At night, the sound of water falling above disturbs rest. 5. There was so much running around upstairs that it was like an earthquake, and the problem was not resolved despite multiple phone calls.

Really convenient location to the spots we needed to go to in Optics Valley. The area has a lot of restaurants and dining options.

I contacted the manager at first and he said there were bath slippers, so I didn't bring any. When I arrived, he said there were none. He gave me a few more pairs of disposable slippers, one of which was moldy. I seriously suspected that it was a pair of slippers. I was isolated for a long time and felt that my feet would rot. The hygiene is worrying. There is wall paint falling off on the side of the curtain that has not been cleaned. There is x in the toilet. This is the first time I have encountered it. Because we went in, the baby's father asked you what's wrong? I said no, and he pointed to the toilet and said what is this? We both wanted to vomit. There is a large bottle of water left in the kettle, but I don't need a kettle. I bring my own kettle. It may be a bit disgusting for others to use it. The sound insulation is not good. There was a dance competition when I checked in. Many children checked in. Even on the upper floors, it was very noisy. The water pipe next door was turned on and I could hear it here. Advantages: The service is very good. The manager contacted before check-in. There were fruits when checking in (to be honest, I didn't eat the free fruits, I suggest not to give them, just clean up the place). Someone opened and closed the door when driving. A disposable toilet seat was given (although I didn't use it), it was plastic. There was purified water in the lobby, which was good. I won't stay there next time. This time it was close to the attractions, and the three of us disinfected quickly when we got home.

I will strongly recommend for all foreigner and overseas who are professional business traveler ,solo visitors and friends visitor to Wuhan you must stay there you feel royal treatment .
