There are so many great things to say, but let's start with the location – it's absolutely fantastic! A true oasis of calm amidst the city's hustle and bustle. You're just a 5-minute walk from Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street, Shuita Snack Street, and Baocheng Road Night Market. Plus, grab a shared bike, and you can reach Shanhaiguan Road for some local breakfast in about ten minutes. Even if you're exhausted, the hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, offering excellent value for money. The lobby also provides thoughtful refreshment kits, with sweet and refreshing lemon water. You can also pick up bottled water anytime you pass the elevator area. These small gestures and details really warmed our hearts, especially after a long day of travel. What's more, the service is wonderfully friendly and discreet. The staff are always available but never intrusive. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wuhan. Nice!

The hotel boasts an excellent location. Rooms are comfortable and well soundproofed, featuring high-quality bedding. Breakfast is plentiful, and the overall dining quality meets expectations. Facilities like the gym and pool are well-maintained. Room, dining, and concierge services were all top-notch. However, the primary drawback was the front desk service. During check-in, the staff were noticeably cold and indifferent, lacking basic warmth and eye contact. Their communication felt robotic and stiff, with no proactive guidance offered (e.g., breakfast times or location). The entire interaction felt like a cold transaction, completely devoid of the welcoming 'home away from home' feeling one expects from a five-star hotel. As the hotel's 'face,' the front desk service severely let the establishment down and was the biggest detractor from an otherwise good experience.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. A pedestrian street is right downstairs, surrounded by popular ***** specialty snack shops like Feifei Xiashuang, Liangliang Zhengxia, and Cailinji. It's also very close to trendy check-in spots like Xian'anfang and Lihuangpi Road, making it perfect for a city walk. The hotel is quite new, and the cleanliness is great. On the 26th floor, there's a self-service coffee and tea bar, available for guests to enjoy at any time. They use Luckin Coffee beans, and the taste is quite good. The hotel's service is also impeccable. Before we checked out, we were pleasantly surprised with a garlic bird doll and a fridge magnet. All the staff members were very warm and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting *****!

This was our first summer family trip to Wuhan, and we chose Atour Hotel Wuhan Gaokong. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and offered excellent views. The location is incredibly convenient – stepping out of the hotel feels like entering paradise! Situated right in the heart of Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street's core commercial district, it's a huge bonus for families with kids. If the kids got tired from walking, we could easily pop back up to the room for a rest and recharge before heading out again. Milk tea, snacks, local specialties – everything was just steps away, and we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. Being right next to Jianghan Road Metro Station also made it super convenient for visiting attractions like Yellow Crane Tower and Hubei Provincial Museum, or even crossing the river to Hankou River Beach and taking a ferry. From our room, we could overlook the vibrant streetscape of Jianghan Road and the distant, shimmering river. The city was bustling with traffic during the day and lit up spectacularly at night. This high-rise vantage point offered the kids a more comprehensive understanding of the city's layout and vibrancy, which was a nice little educational bonus. The 'Zhuju' (Bamboo Dwelling) in the hotel lobby was a wonderful spot to relax. During our downtime, we could bring the kids there for some quiet reading. A special thank you goes to the front desk staff who helped us with everything so clearly and efficiently. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Wuhan!

Had a fantastic experience. I booked a Deluxe King Room, which came with a sofa, and was upgraded to a City View King Room. The upgraded room was a bit larger than my original booking. The view from the room was also excellent, offering expansive vistas. The room was spotless, and the decor felt quite modern. The service from the front desk to the support staff was excellent; they always went above and beyond to help resolve any difficulties. Moreover, the metro station is incredibly close, making it super convenient to get to different areas from the hotel. It's a perfect tranquil spot amidst the hustle and bustle, and the service was exceptionally thoughtful!

**Facilities:** The hotel is said to be the former Novotel Xinhua, which was extremely popular a few years back and once had a stellar reputation. Consequently, the facilities are still very well-maintained and comprehensive. It truly lives up to the saying 'small but perfectly formed'. **Cleanliness:** Despite its location on a bustling food street, the hotel's exterior is remarkably clean, and the rooms are, without exaggeration, spotless. It's clear the management takes great pride in their meticulous upkeep. **Location:** Strategically located just a 15-minute drive from Hankou Railway Station, it's also right next to the famous Wansongyuan Food Street – an absolute paradise for a foodie like myself! **Service:** The service was exceptional! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with an iced drink, a local 'crispy ice' snack, and even cooling patches – so many thoughtful gestures I was almost overwhelmed! Their genuine warmth and hospitality were truly touching. This hotel is an absolute must-visit. To top it all off, I even received a 50% off Didi coupon for my ride!

Second time staying at this hotel. It’s in a great location. The staff speak a little bit of English which I find enormously helpful, and they are accommodating and will help with any issues you have. I requested some cutlery for my room so I could eat in the hotel room and within 5 minutes they’d brought it. A couple of negatives: the desk area in the hotel room was really dusty, the hotel needs to pay more attention to dusting. The pillows were not very comfortable, but this is subjective. Also, the toilets smell like cigarette smoke, so there needs to be stricter enforcement of no smoking indoors. Overall I definitely do recommend this hotel, it is good value for money.

Due to airline delay problems, I decided to view it as a blessing and spend a night in Wuhan. This site was easy to reserve and I headed over from the airport. Check in was easy, and the room was very beautiful, clean, spacious with a great view. There were some street vendors, a coffee shop and brewery across the street (skybridge). I liked it and would definately stay again.

As soon as I walked into the hotel door, I could feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the service staff. Whether it was the front desk reception or the room service, every employee was smiling and friendly, making me feel at home. Especially Aaron at the front desk and the room service, the room was cleaned very cleanly, and any needs could be met in time. Once I returned to the hotel at night and found that there was a problem with the air conditioning in the room. I called and the engineer came to help solve it in less than five minutes. This efficient service quality doubled my favorability for this hotel. The facilities of this Shengyun Hotel are really all-inclusive. First of all, the room is fully equipped with TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. In addition, the hotel also has public facilities such as gym, swimming pool, restaurant, tea space, etc. to meet my needs in all aspects. I especially like their gym, which has advanced equipment and spacious space, so that I can keep the habit of exercising during the holidays. During the days in the hotel, I really experienced what comfort and enjoyment are. Whether it is a soft big bed, a comfortable sofa, or delicious food, every detail makes people feel happy. Especially in the restaurant, there are not only a variety of food to choose from, but also an elegant environment and thoughtful service, which makes people linger. After this stay, I deeply understand why this hotel is rated as a five-star hotel. Whether it is the service quality, complete facilities, or the five-star experience and comfortable enjoyment, it is satisfactory. This hotel really deserves its reputation!

Service: Service personnel at reception speaks to too many customers at the same time. Especially those not waiting in line should be made waiting until it is their turn. After ordering extra 4 x half liter bottles of water we received complaints of needing too much water. Either ask for extra money or not, no one will complain about paying some extra for water. But stop the indecisive complaining towards the customer. Cleanliness: The carpet in the room had many dirty spots and especially near the entrance door it didn’t look clean. Also in the bathroom the faucet of the bathtub was rather old and moveable where it should not be. Price: Good price
