I've used this hotel as a base when working in Norfolk several times now, with stays ranging from 1 night to 5, and it has been consistently great. The location is ideal for the city centre, as well as being really close to the main routes across wider Norfolk - although you'd never know it with how quiet it is in the hotel & garden. The food is fantastic, across both breakfast and dinner, with a good range of options and all really reasonably priced. What sets this place apart is the service, though. Normally I'd name individuals, but literally everyone has been fantastic - especially the friendly reception staff and (truly brilliant) bar / restaurant team... always friendly, always knowledgable, and providing great service without ever feeling 'rushed' or 'mithered'. Its a sign of how good the place is that locals use the restaurant for meals out too! Working away at the other end of the country can be a real chore, but the team here endeavour to make ot as much a 'home away from home, as possible. A genuine 5* rating is absolutely deserved.
