Enjoyed a 2 night stay here. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Each lodge (with just one exception) includes a hot tub, which is sheltered and well screened for privacy. We stayed in a studio lodge which is perfect for 2. There is an outside seating area on the verandah, a picnic bench, and also a BBQ setup. You can also park next to your lodge. Several attractions are in the vicinity, including Castle Howard, and the pretty village of Pickering, with access to the N Yorks steam railway. Would like to return.

Our forth visit to Rocklands and the first time with kids. The lodge is clean, well presented and well equipped. The hot tub was great and also nice and clean. The Buck Inn in the town was only a short walk and does great food and drink! The kids loved the play area and they even have an EV charger. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely peaceful break for the two of us. The hot tub was ideal. Had family staying up the road at Flamingoland so appreciated returning to the quiet garden and hot tub amongst the trees. Hired a ‘studio’ which had everything necessary. Cannot fault at all and hope to return.

Brilliant place to stay. Lovely for families and pets. Hot tub was excellent. Not far from lots of great places like Pickering, Eden camp and Helmsley. Would recommend

A lovely lodge with everything in that was needed. Comfortable beds etc. Lovely location and friendly staff. Communication was great. Loved the little honesty shop for well needed treats, e.g. ice lollies. Only issue (small) was the trees blocked the sun, so no sun on the decking at all (I don’t think all deckings are like this) and it was a sunny day. I sat on the grass in front of the decking so it was ok and I wouldn’t want trees cut down so I could sunbathe! Would definitely return.

A lovely relaxing peaceful location and amazing lodge! Clean and homely. Had everything we needed. Comfy beds too! Defo worth taking your own little bbq. Nice area for walks and only 10mins from pickering

This place is so peaceful and totally relaxing. The grounds are so beautiful and the lodges have everything you need to make your stay pleasant. The little honesty shop is a great little extra to help you if you run out or forget some essentials. We have been coming for years with our dogs and they love it too. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.
