We booked for three nights and had to check out after an hour. When we entered the room it smelt very damp and the air felt heavy, we thought perhaps it hadn’t been aired out recently and sat down for half an hour and unpacked. We then noticed the curtains appeared to be mouldy, as well as the headboard and the damp smell wasn’t abating. I went down to the reception and a lovely staff member offered to turn the heating on for us- but I explained I had just had a chest infection and was worried about the damp making me unwell again. He advised me the hotel was fully booked but perhaps we could ask to swap rooms in the morning. I went back to the room to inform my husband and email the customer service team. It was then that my husband closed the curtains and we noticed the windows and window sill were wet with condensation and the backs of the curtains were covered in black mould! You can see from the photos attached. This isn’t what I would expect from ANYWHERE, regardless of price! But when you are paying a couple hundred of pounds for the weekends room, you would expect at a minimum there would be no mould. I knew; given my recent ill health that I couldn’t sleep in the room and felt that after three days our clothes would absolutely stink. We immediately packed up and checked out after finding a last minute alternative - the whole experience was stressful and very, very unpleasant. Safe to say we will not stay at a Premier Inn again.

Standard room with sea view very pleasant room very large and comfortable able to lay on chaise lounge instead of bed much better. Only let down was the food every thing was pretty much tasteless and over cooked, Staff were excellent but nobody asked or seemed bothered about how my meal was.

A nice hotel with fabulous seafront location. Particular mention should be made of Christine in the kitchen who was very friendly and put on a wonderful breakfast, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the family. This was our third visit and I’m sure it won’t be our last.

The breakfast, starting with cornflakes, followed, by a large fry up (eg sausages, eggs, bacon, hash browns, beans and tomatoes) fried freshly by Christine the chef. Of course there are alternatives to choose from. Ie croissants, toast, danishes.

Stayed here for 4 days had the best stay.food was excellent could not fault well done to the young man in the evenings didn't get his name sadly but it was well presented and cooked. Also Christine in the mornings for the breakfasts.the staff in the restaurant were very polite & courteous considering they were having to serve drinks wait on tables & keep going out to check people in. The room was fabulous wish we'd asked for a sea room as they must be fabulous. All in all 10 out of 10 plus for all round hopefully will definitely come back for another stay. Thank you all .

The staff were the most courteous and welcoming that I have come across in this brand of hotel for some time. Hotel room basic, clean and good value for money. We only required base, but despite arriving seperately my wife and I both will remember reception staff and the happy and gracious manners.

Stayed for one night. Arrived at Worthing station. Hotel is a decent walk from the station but that was fine as it gave me a chance to stretch my legs after the trip down from London. Hotel was easy to find on the seafront(which is a very nice scenic walk) with the entrance being equally conspicuous. There are self check in screens in the reception which I had not seen before. A member of staff came over to help me and it turned out to be very straight forward, with my putting my name in and my booking appearing on the screen. A slip of paper detailing my room number was dispensed from the machine along with my keycard. The room was fine and clean, with the bed sheets being spotless which is a necessity for me. One of the curtains may have needed changing as when I went to pull them for the night, I noticed some staining and slight black mould on the inside. This probably built up due to there being no way to open the windows to let in some air (as far as I could tell). Otherwise, everything else was fine. I would stay here again.
