Basic and no frills hotel in a prime location on Worthing seafront. I chose as it’s great value and the location could not be better. The place really could do with a refurb, that said, the staff are just fantastic. Such a warm welcome and everyone I encountered is so happy, helpful and engaging. So lovely, especially when travelling alone. Great budget stay and the people made all the difference.

No hot water. Building works are being undertaken and I would not have stayed if I knew before.

The picture on the website is not representative of reality I. March 2025. The outside is tatty. Cracks, flanking paint, discolouration, faded signs it is the worst looking building on the seafront. The picture of the bedroom is generic as the windows are different. The bed was really old ams the bed was really ceaky. The tiling in the bathroom is not neat so will have looked poor from the start but the grout now has black mould in places, the mirrors in the bathroo. Is deteriorating. The communal areas of the hotel were in good condition.

I was skeptical about using Travelodge after a previous bad experience however, this time round was perfect. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again!

Whilst this is a budget chain and an old building they have taken over, nothing can excuse the shoddy state of this hotel. Shower area is mouldy and the shower has no pressure. Uneven floor, room long overdue basic maintenance and modernisation (no USB sockets for example). You almost wonder if they are trying to run the building into the ground so they can build a new one. It is on the sea front, but our room overlooked the rear car park. Cancelled next booking, really awful experience. However, a small gem, the scrambled egg is amazing.

Bathroom lack of hot water for washing and for Showering Had to run hot tap for 18 minutes before water’s became hot stated my shower then water ran cold again had to finish shower with cold water Was offered change of room but at breakfast every one’s room had same problem so no point in changing rooms Extractor fan in bathroom did not work A real parking problem also
